Update: I found out they got rid of the man !! Now back to one of my favorite spots I can continue to go. The food and everyone’s else here is great and deserves and updated review with 5 stars !! Thanks to the manager and employees that serviced me today nothing but positive vibes and very much appreciated great staff !!

Original post: The way me and my husband was just treated when we walked into this establishment should be against the law !! We are returning paying customers. Soon as me and my husband walks in at the same time together he heads towards the restroom and I head towards the register. The first and only greeting we get is “sorry we don’t have any public restrooms” coming from a guy we never seen there named Chris (so he said that’s his name). No hey, how are you, welcome to brown bag nothing !!!.. I try to explain to him we are paying customers and not coming to only use a restroom but he ignores me and goes to chase my husband down as he heads towards the restroom. He became very irate and even tries to fight my husband after we decided to put him in his place and is the reason we left. I’m upset because my husband had to be in that predicament after I’m the one who chose that place to eat today and we were treated that way. We came in very nice looking and presentable as we always are and ready to spend money !! and was treated like some street walkers that look to use the restroom in public places all day, when my husband actually waited until we pulled up to use the restroom there and not stop anywhere else since we were headed there to be paying customers. I have everything on video evidence and I will make sure it’s seen how he tried to big bully and fight my husband after we were just looking for a nice day out to eat.Chris also goes off to say he doesn’t care about any reviews !! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brown Bag in Charlotte, NC, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and vibrant. Our waitress, Sycine, was exceptional—she immediately recognized that we were first-time customers and took the time to guide us through the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.

What truly impressed me was the level of attentiveness from the entire staff. There was a young man at the cash register who, when his line slowed down, took the initiative to walk around the dining area to check in with customers about their food and overall experience. It's rare to see such dedication and care for patrons, and it made the meal even more enjoyable.

Overall, Brown Bag exceeded my expectations with its incredible customer service and delicious food. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Charlotte. If you're looking for a place with top-notch service and a welcoming vibe, this is it! Highly recommended!

I just want to start with ..if you haven’t eaten here before definitely try it! Highly recommend, came in around their lunch rush and still received top tier service! The atmosphere was super clean and friendly. They have a cute little sauce station where you can grab your own sauces! Definitely try the boss sauce because it’s giving bossy! I was able to sit in their outdoor area and enjoyed amazing food with a nice scenery! I had ordered their fish and chips and instead of fries I ordered their truffle tots! Everything thing was perfect! The fish was super fluffy yet the perfect amount of crispy on the outside, with the side of crispy tots loaded with truffle was so tasteful! Everyone there had great energy, welcoming me as soon as I opened the door really making me feel seen! Will definitely be back very soon thank you!
