On feb 14 we called at 4pm and made reservations for 7pm. Upon arrival the manger stated he had a sticky note with the reservation but it was not put in the system !! Advised he would get us seated as soon as he could. Mind you we had a party of 15 people. The main reason why we did the reservations. All he kept saying was the restaurant had Just opened back up (no excuse) after a hour and a half waiting and seeing several parties go before us , we were finally seated. After being seated it took another 30 mins for us to order. There was a party besides us which was suppose to be the party of the guy who revamped the building. Which they was receiving the top most service. They had three waiters and we only finally received one. Once the waiter took our order which seem to be very challenging for him. He came back again with another waiter to go over the order again. I’m guessing he was not able to keep up with the table. Which we knew from the jump. Once the second waiter came and helped with the orders , they went to put them in the system again for the second time. We waited for another extended time. Once the orders came out ! All of them was wrong! Some didn’t get the shrimp in the bag. Some had a lbs of shrimp and crabs and did receive it and several didn’t receive anything at all. Which then caused A third order!!!!! We didn’t receive crackers ,refills etc. The previous waiter never even came back and put it all on the waitress that came to help him ! After I received my food it was wrong again. The manger was not concerned that we had bad service from the time we came in. And all he could do was apologize. But was not try to fix the problem !!!!! The only reason we went to this restaurant was because the first time we went it was a good experience ! I don’t recommend anyone to go here if you want to have good service and plan ahead. The manger needs to be retrained on how to deal with large parties. And To quit apologizing and figure out away to fix the problem !!! Valentine was ruined !!! From a reservation that was at 7 to getting food at 10:30 pm and nothing right !!!!! Not sure who the owners is. But not only did I want to write this review. Several of the waiters have concerns about the manger and ask me to write the review. Now that speaks volume !!! Also no compensation was given for terrible...
Read moreWent here for the first time after having a nice day on the Boardwalk. Walked in and began to talk with the receptionist about the menu. We placed our order at the counter because when we were talking with her about menu items, she began to ring things up. I just assumed that’s how they do things because when asked if we were taking our food to go, I stated, “No, we are eating here”. We then paid but I didn’t think anything of it. Again, I just assumed they did things differently there. We then went to sit down at a table. About 10- 15 minutes later, the receptionist brings a brown paper bag out and sits it at the table and walks off. I thought “maybe she heard us wrong and thinks we’re leaving”. No big deal, we’ll just get plates and sit here, so my boyfriend goes to ask her for plates and comes back. She goes to the back and then comes back to the table and says “My manager said that because you ordered To Go, you cannot eat here”. To which we responded, “We didn’t say we were leaving. We said we wanted to eat our food here”. The manager then comes out and he says the same thing she just said to which we respond, “We said we wanted to eat here. She must have misheard us. We never said we were taking our food to go.” There was clearly a miscommunication on her part. He then asked if we had already closed out, which we had already paid. I don’t understand why that made a difference though because Food doesn’t cost more if you eat it inside the restaurant. The food was already paid for AND a tip had been included. Instead of him offering to let us stay because there was a miscommunication on behalf of his employee, he still insisted that we leave because “we have servers for dine-in and you already closed out. I’m sorry. I’ll talk to her. She’s new”. His half apology was meaningless at that point because I don’t understand why we couldn’t sit and eat food that we had paid for. Yall took our money already. Not to mention there was only ONE other couple in there. The rest of the restaurant was EMPTY! We had to end up taking cold seafood an hour and a half back down the highway before we could get home and eat it comfortably. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and really left a bad taste...
Read moreWe eat at crafty crab often and have realized we pay extra for a half pound of shrimp and meat and every time we order it we do not get the extra half pound, meaning we pay extra for these and do not ever get them. The food is always good so we have come back, until this most recent time. We ordered two of the specials which included lobster, crab, shrimp, potatoes, and corn and added on the extra half pound of meat and shrimp. After we ordered we received a call about 5 mins later and the woman stated she forgot to write down which seasoning we wanted. When we got to the restaurant to pick up the food we realized they had forgot the seasoning, we went back in and they told us they were out of containers for the seasoning. Finally, we got home and realized the one meal was missing the half pound of shrimp and meat. The other meat was missing the lobster, potatoes, and shrimp... so it was only crab and corn... we paid $100+ for this meal. We tried to call back the store 12 times to see what to do. Decided to take the food missing the most back up and ask for it to be remade or a refund. When we arrived the workers apologized and said they could not remake or refund because we did not bring both meals... My boyfriend asked to speak to the manager/owner and he argued with my boyfriend saying he will not remake or refund the food because we didn’t bring both orders back. IVE NEVER BEEN ASKED TO BRING FOOD BACK. Luckily my boyfriend had taken pictures of the incorrect meal. They were still not wanting to replace it and it took my boyfriend arguing for 15-20 minutes for them to finally replace both meals and guess what they then magically had containers for the sauces. At this point it had been about 2 hours of dealing with them.
This place has continuously ripped us off and the owner/manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. we will not be returning and will never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere where you won’t have rude customer service and won’t...
