No longer a place where I will spend my money because I refuse to tolerate their rude employee. Goodbye Wine Vault. Good bye forever!
I've been going to the Wine Vault for over 11years. Yesterday, I decided to go to the Wine Vault with my sister. As soon as, I walked in I said hello to the rude employee and I asked her how her baby was doing because like I said I've been going to the Wine Vault for years and I remember seeing her pregnant. I also remember seeing her baby at the store. She just stared at me. I felt very uncomfortable and I explained to her that I've been coming to the Wine Vault for years and I remember seeing her baby at the store. She continued to stare at me and said, "SHE'S OK!" with a very rude tone. I proceed to walk away and select my bottle of wine. I returned to the register to pay for my bottle of wine. I apologized to her by saying, "I'm sorry if I offended you. I was just trying to be nice to you." She continued to stare at me and very rudely said, "I DON'T KNOW YOU!" I just said, "ok". Then she grabbed the bottle of wine and said, "IS THIS TO GO?!" I was about to walk away and never come back, but I decided to pay for the bottle of wine and stay to wait for my sister.
A few months ago, I went to the Wine Vault with my husband. I asked her if she can help me find a wine bottle that is similar to Josh Cabernet. She refused to help me and said very rudely that she didn't know of a wine similar to Josh Cabernet. I went to another employee and asked for her assistance. She was very nice and helpful. She helped me select a wine. She was a petite girl with dark hair. I saw her there yesterday.
On another occasion (maybe a year ago). I informed her that one of the restroom's was very dirty. She replied again very rudely, "I can't control how men piss!" And she proceeded to walk away.
It is very unfortunate that we will no longer go to the Wine Vault because of their rude employee with bad customer service.
I will stop bringing my family and friends to the Wine Vault. She doesn’t smile and doesn’t make you feel welcome. She has the worst customer service skills in the world. She is not nice and/or helpful. She gets pissed off when you ask her a question. She is even more rude if you try to be nice to her. For a while now, I was avoiding coming to the Wine Vault when I saw her at the register. I would just turn around and go to 201 Central off Prosperity Church.
My advise to the Wine Vault is to have her take some customer service courses and teach her how to deal with the public. The Wine Vault is losing clientele...
Read moreHow can you not love "The Wine Vault", they have a great selection of wine, and enough seating for about 30 or 40 people, and is always a nice atmosphere created by decorative walls and alternative music. They don't serve food obviously, but they do serve good options for wine, that can be enjoyed by the bottle, or the glass. I was there on the evening of 11/24, the particular host that was working was friendly, I was accompanied by a guest, she and I were able to sit anywhere we liked, as there were no other couples or groups when we first entered around 7:45pm, we move around to a few different areas and end up in the back left corner of the shop, I had my small bluetooth speaker playing, as the overhead music wasn't loud, so I wanted to play my music, to create a slightly different vibe for my guest, in order to hear the music I was playing, you had to be sitting or standing almost beside me, so it was not loud enough to disturb anyone's conversation, as a few other couples and one group had also come into the establishment, the host had walked by multiple times and hadn't said anything, but around 9:15pm, she said that no one is allowed to play bluetooth, I turned the speaker off and gave her no pushback, she walked by multiple times after that, my guest and I had finished our one glass of wine, and not once did the host ask if we enjoyed the wine, or stop to collect our empty glasses, which I thought they usually do there, maybe I'm wrong, but when we approached the counter to bring back the empty glasses, I don't recall her asking us if we enjoyed the wine, and my guest and I did discuss the taste of the wine at one point, so I thought the service could've been better which is why I only gave it 3 stars. Outside of that "The Wine Vault" is an awesome choice for a first meet/date, if the person...
Read moreMy wife and I were in town, just visiting for her birthday. We went into The Wine Vault hoping for a nice experience to learn about some new wines, with intentions of purchasing a couple bottles. After receiving no greeting at all from the lady behind the counter, I inquired about a flight of wine. We're not really knowledgeable on the variety of wines, so we were hoping to get some information and descriptions from the worker. Instead, the lady behind the counter was not helpful at all. She just told us to order from the wall menu, which only had the names of the wines but no descriptions. So, I basically had to build our flights blindly. She was very short and not personable at all when responding to the few questions I asked. After filling the glasses for our flights, she just stood there and said nothing. I had to take it upon myself to grab the flights and carry them to a table that my wife picked for us; no assistance with seating or even an invitation to the sitting area. So, instead of enjoying a nice little wine tasting experience, we rushed through our flights and left as soon as we could. We actually liked a couple of the wines we tasted and would've purchased a bottle but the lady never checked on us or even asked us what we thought about the wines we tasted. It's a nice spot and could've definitely been a whole lot better experience with the proper...
