Golden Cow Creamery Southpark — Restaurant in Charlotte

Once upon a time there lived a boy (that's me, I'm that boy) who had a hankering for some ice cream. New to the Charlotte area he asked his good friend, who literally knows everything, "Ok Google! find ice cream near me". She replied with a list of local ice cream parlors. That is how he discovered The Golden Cow. The name alone was so intriguing he clicked on it and started reading the reviews. There were so many rave reviews that the boy decided he must try this magical place. Upon his arrival he was greeted gleefully by the staff. They even offered him samples of their flavors. Together they found one that was perfect; Dunkaroos! The boy ordered a double scoop in a waffle cone, enjoyed it more than you could imagine right there in the store, and asked his friend Google to spread the good word about this heavenly establishment. The boy then lived happily ever...

Not really super impressed. I had the vanilla ice cream and pistachio. The service at best was mediocre. They did not do anything bad, but because I've owned my own business, I am very big on customer service. The young man fixed the ice cream I requested and handed it to me. Really no interaction. He just did his job and the young fella who rang me up was engaged on his phone and looked up to ring me up and I hit no tip and he responded with a little bit above normal voice range said thank you very much. I wasn't quite sure if that was authentic or being sarcastic.. but either way the place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I absolutely love ice cream but I doubt that I would return here. but don't let that stop you if you want to try it you may have a better experience and you may enjoy the other flavors...

Decent ice cream. We came in with high spirits looking to enjoy a break from the heat. One attendant seemed very friendly and gave good service. However, the other young lady was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes and gave very attitudinal responses when I asked her about flavors. She also rolled her eyes when I thanked her for handing me my ice cream.

While we ate we then had to listen to her be unpleasant to the other employee working.

As someone who has been in the service industry for years, I understand having an off day. However I will say I don’t believe there is an excuse to be rude and nasty to customers who come in ready to be pleasant. Would not return on experience alone. Even though the young...
