QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Charlotte

University Qdoba is the worst Qdoba in the area. My friend asked for red peppers from the fajita mix, which has never been a problem at any other location, locally or out of state. The man behind the counter, normally in the kitchen, said they couldn't do that bc it had to stay as a mix. When she said nevermind then, he loaded it up with the green peppers and onions she didn't want anyway. He then added two different salsas she didn't ask for, before rolling it up so poorly it fell apart as she tried to eat it. I had to ask for a replacement tortilla to get it fixed, but it still didn't fix the fact she paid full price for something she didn't want, didn't ask for, and didn't enjoy. Other staff members were mostly nice and exhibited fine customer service; but between mixing up salsa and not wanting to have to make more fajita mix for customers as his job entails, it's clear that there's an issue at this location, as this is not the first time we've encountered problems with other employees, including the man that both denied a reasonable request that has always been honored and won't listen to the customers. I'd give it zero...

I love the location and the staff …the owner is one of the most compassionate/genuine people I’ve experienced in a food business even on a busy day he accommodates even the most rude and needy customers… while waiting patiently in line behind what definitely was a needy picky older customer he stayed calm though she was holding up the line with all of her crazy requests he tended to all of her needs before checking her out and thanking her for shopping…any other person would have been pulling hair or worse would have gotten ticked off with her he didn’t as someone who works in customer service I admire people who can still be kind when others are inconsiderate It just shows you that customer service is not dead and there’s still good people running businesses…food’s always great portions are enough for leftovers place is clean and the people are friendly one of my favorite lunch spots I prefer them...

The 2 stars are just for the food. The food is a perfect healthy quick bite, but there service at this location has become the worst service I've had here.......ever! The staff at one point was the reason I came here every week now (since the new staff was rolled in) the service is rude and they try to give you bear minimum. When some one ask for alot of pepers and you give them 3 slivers and give an attitude when they ask for more. This is just an example its alot more than that. We are blaitenly ignored and I HATE to say it but I believe it's due to the COLOR OF MY SKIN. When other patrons get better service right after me that look different to me, well that's what you call racist I hope not but that is what I feel when I come here I will not...
