The Daily is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. From the moment you walk in, the ambience sets the tone — it’s warm, welcoming, and always buzzing with a fun and energetic crowd that makes the space feel alive without being overwhelming. Whether you’re going for a casual drink after work, a night out with friends, or even just to grab a bite solo, it always feels like the right place to be. The bartenders here are truly top notch. They’re not only quick and attentive, but also incredibly personable, which makes you feel like more than just another customer. On top of that, they pour generously, which is something everyone can appreciate — it’s such a refreshing change from the watered-down drinks you sometimes get elsewhere. You really feel like you’re getting value along with great service. The food also deserves just as much love. The buffalo cauliflower is absolutely incredible — crispy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor. What really takes it over the top is their homemade blue cheese dressing. You can tell it’s made in-house because it’s rich, tangy, and fresh, and it pairs perfectly with the spice of the cauliflower. Honestly, it’s one of the best versions of this dish I’ve ever had, and I would come back just for that alone. All in all, The Daily Tavern nails it across the board: great atmosphere, friendly people, skilled bartenders, generous drinks, and seriously delicious food. It’s one of those spots that feels both like a local favorite and a hidden gem at the same time. If you’re in Charlotte and haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out — you won’t be disappointed!

As someone who doesn't eat meat, I'm always excited to find a fresh veggie burger on the menu and at the Daily Tavern I hit the jackpot! At first glance I was not very excited, White Bean and Quinoa Burger didn't sound that appealing, but I'm always up to try something new and boy am I glad I did! I asked what was my side and they said, seasonal vegetables, not what I wanted, but if that is what it comes with, I'm game. WOW! Holy Brussels Sprouts Batman this our straight from heaven! Even if you end up not liking the White Bean Burger, the seasonal vegetables are incredible! They had a slight smokey flavor to them like they had been put in a brick over, not over cooked, but still had the crispness that I like when I eat cooked vegetables. PERFECTION! Now about the burger... Outstanding, not as good as the vegetables mind you, but I would put it in the top 5 of fresh veggie burgers I've had! The chef walked by and I even told him what a wonderful meal he had made! Had a great experience there and I look forward to visiting again when I'm in Charlotte, NC! It was so good, I'll have do sing a whole concert!

I had an outstanding experience recently thanks to Tyler, the general manager, and Hannah, the bartender. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident from start to finish. Tyler’s leadership was apparent in how smoothly everything ran, while Hanna's expert bartending added a touch of excellence to the evening. Her drink recommendations were spot-on, and the cocktails were fantastic. The food was equally impressive, with each dish delivered to perfection and bursting with flavor. An unexpected highlight was the claw machine they have on site. Not only did I have a blast playing, but I also won a delightful stuffed monkey, adding an extra layer of fun to the evening. Tyler and Hanna’s exceptional service, combined with great food and a fun claw machine, made for a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Beer selection is large and well priced. People that work there are great and attentive. Food, though, is not good. I have waited to eat there a few disappointing times before casting judgement, but tonight’s catastrophe takes it to a new level. The food I’ve had has never been great, but my husbands meal of crab and bacon gnocchi both smelled and tasted like it had gone bad. The bartender came over to ask how our meal was going. When I asked her if the gnocchi dish smelled right, she immediately whisked it back to the kitchen. A kind gesture, though the returning dish shared the same characteristics as the original. We each took a bite for good measure, then asked for the check in fear we might get sick on the spot. Was the crab meat out of an expired can? I hope I never find out. I’m sure we will end up back there for a beer at some point, but will never waste my money on food there again and recommend you...
