On 12/09 at the drive-through at 6:44 pm Order number 84. I ordered a double quarter pounder combo with several burgers on the side. 10 minutes later after arriving to work I noticed my fries were forgotten. I drove back through the drive through to get them and asked for them to be upgraded to a large. I asked this to feel valued as a customer and for them to make up for the mistake they made. However after asking this they told me I would have to pay the difference. I don't feel that providing me with the fries that they forgot and nothing else is enough to compensate me for the inconvenience. I've personally worked in the food service industry and have been taught better. If you mess up you have to make up for that mistake if you want to keep that customer. You have to make them feel valued; that their time is valued. I did not feel this way. The bare minimum was all they offered to replace my fries. That is not above and beyond service. I expect better from this franchise. I went into the store to get the managers name which was Elvira. I told her that In the past at that exact location that I had been offered free combo's as a compensation for messing up an order I even produced a card that I had received in the past but never used. I did not ask for a combo I asked for an upgraded size for my fry. Only after producing the unused combo card did she offer to upgrade my fry but only if I had the receipt. Read moreExtremely rude, unprofessional people work her. We did the drive thru. The lady at the menu kept saying “pull ahead” after every item we said even though we weren’t done ordering. It seemed like she just wanted to be done taking our order. When got to the pay window she didn’t even tell us how much we owed. Just stuck out her hand. Didn’t offer a receipt and then went back to eating fries. Didn’t say a word to us. When we pulled to the food window we were handed a bag of food and our drinks. We checked our food and we were missing items, thankfully we hadn’t pulled away, so we asked for the rest of the food we payed for. We had asked for a bottle of water and we got a glass of water, not a big deal but when we asked for our bottle of water instead of the glass, she took the glass back and didn’t apologize or anything and just told us what more we owed for the bottle of water. Read moreEat here frequently for lunch. This location is always quick with the order and pretty fresh fries which is a must with a McDonalds in my opinion. The burgers are good compared to some of the cold ones I have had at other locations. A gentleman named Vincent brings my order most of the time and he is a breath of fresh air compared to most service people these days!! Vincent is polite, caring, courteous, and efficient. When he is not busy he is always cleaning, mopping, sweeping or taking garbage out without being asked (I am in management - I watched). Great job Vincent!! I hope others follow your lead as the service industry in this country is in real trouble with the rude, lazy, not caring help most businesses are dealing with these days. It really is a shame that our next generations are not being taught the value of good work, manners and EARNING a paycheck.
