The Pretentious Poop As a general rule, pooping anywhere from 3 times a day to 3 times a week is normal. Now, isn’t that interesting? Well, at my recent visit at the Beach House Grill, I rammed head first into quite the dilemma and unfortunately not into a door encasing a stool pool. After finishing my rather scrumptious swordfish with a side of smashed red potatoes (not to mention the admirably sour lemonade), my intestines started to rumble like the engine of Hellcat with a missing muffler. I figured I would politely excuse myself from the table which consisted of those very close to me. So, that’s exactly what I did. I set off on a journey, which was disappointingly and unexpectedly long. No, it pains me to say that it wasn’t because I had many kids to drop off at the pool. Rather the exact opposite. I open the door to a beautiful looking bathroom with two serendipitous stalls. I headed to the door which oddly resembled a closet instead of a classic bathroom stall. I lightly jiggled the knob on the door to no avail. I then tugged on the knob more violently caused by a flurry of poop nerves. Still, to no avail. My comrades ran into the same problem so we decided to make an inquiry to our swaggalicious waiter. He said we could sneak into a celebration next door to use their bathroom. I do not want this review to be lengthy whatsoever, so in short, this journey too, was to no avail. So here I sit in the back seat of my car holding in my brown chunky soup filled intestines just imagining what kind of ventilation my at-home bathroom will require. I will not be returning to this restaurant any time soon and I DO NOT recommend it for those who also are...
Read moreLike to thank Phil Amidon for the most amazing dinner, From start to finish, dinner at Chatham Bars Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. The setting alone is stunning — ocean views, beautifully landscaped grounds, and a warm, elegant ambiance that instantly makes you feel like you’re in for something special.
The service was impeccable. Nickola our server was amazing, Attentive without being overbearing, the staff made sure every detail was perfect and truly elevated the experience. Our server was knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine. Also the manager also was really nice and went out of her way to make the night special!
Speaking of the food — every dish was a standout. From the fresh seafood to the locally sourced ingredients, everything was prepared with skill and creativity. The flavors were balanced, portions generous, and presentation top-notch. The raw bar was exceptional, and the entrees were perfectly cooked. Don’t miss the dessert menu — we ended with a decadent treat that tied the whole night together beautifully.

Read moreHad a very disappointing dinner at the Beach House Grill at Chatham Bars Inn (a 5 star resort). We ate inside where the environment was chaotic, very loud, tons of people, and unpleasant; our server was unsuccessfully doing her best to make things pleasant; I was served cold rubber chicken on my salad, then asked for something more edible, and was given what looked like a previously frozen and flat chicken breast with fake grill lines that was lukewarm with some kind of random, light soy sauce on it; my barely tolerable salad was almost $30. I wish I had walked out then. This was a severe disappointment Chatham Bars Inn! Our purpose for dining there was to assess if we would like to stay there next year, and mission accomplished. I would not travel all the way to beautiful Chatham, Cape Cod, to stay at the...
