Crown Bar — Restaurant in Cheyenne

We were having a nice day exploring Cheyenne and came up to the sign outside that mentioned it was happy hour so we decided to pop in for a game of pool and a drink. While waiting I decided to use the restroom and I gave my companion my ID. When I came back my companion seemed annoyed but I didn't recognize why. I asked my companion about the happy hour and received a vague response (apparently the same response she was given by the bartender.) I began to order our drinks and felt a major attitude from the bartender. I let this slide as I was not interested in getting into an argument. We proceeded to the pool table and played our game, that's when I found out that my companion wanted to leave because of her encounter with the bartender. The bar itself is pretty nice for a little corner dive bar. There are pool tables and some slots. It's roomy and has great prices especially during the happy hour. We went here last night. We danced downstairs for a bit (super dead on a Friday night) we then made our way upstairs. There was live entertainment, which was good. Our bar waitress was not so good. Katrina was her name, she was irritated with us taking 30 sec to order a beverage. I asked if we were bothering her and she said "well I have people over there i have to get to" . We hurried and order the 1st thing that came to mind. My husband did not get his card back..... when we asked she said we keep it if it's over $10, to start a tab. We were not asked if she could and we did not see a sign. Mike the bartender and everyone in the place was amazingly. Having not known a soul in Wyoming we knew everyone in there a short period of time. We were invited to play in a pool tournament, get in on a playoff pick, and even do a little swing dancing. Great place & great staff! Extremely welcoming(LGBTQ friendly)!
