Disappointed. We like to order at Jimmy John's when we get sandwiches out. The young lady taking my order was professional and had good customer service, her coworker however was snappy and unprofessional. When trying to order cheddar cheese rather than the standard provolone on a child's little john sandwich, the coworker unprofessionally snapped and said she can't do that, that only special cheese goes on hot sandwiches. No offer of an upcharge or any resolution. Nothing. Just NO. I said they can cancel my whole order and I will go where I can get the "special cheese" as requested. I realize my would be 30 dollar order will unfaze Jimmy Johns. However, I chose to spend my money elsewhere today and drove out of my way to do so, out of principle. We will continue to patron at their competitors, out of principle. People have a choice where they spend their hard earned money and in this economy, customer service goes a long way. I understand policy, but the way you present yourself and act MATTERS! Also, Jimmy John's probably should look at your policy. I've been fighting with them for a couple years and I only ever order from them if I'm desperate. Nowadays, they typically disappoint me, and I'm officially done with them.
If it's not a driver taking TWO HOURS to drive 10 blocks to my house, then it's a sandwich that gives you food poisoning. If it isn't that, it's customer service that is servely lacking and unavailable. If it's not any of those, it's the fact that they don't even answer the phone during their open hours. I've been here for two decades and they used to have great management and food, but now, it's just terrible. Just go to the one on McCann Ave.

Read moreI really like the subs but this store is lacking some decent staff members who actually care about their customers and their orders. I placed a delivery order and the driver arrived with only the 2 sandwiches and a pickle but the order was missing the two cokes and the oatmeal cookie (that I already paid for with my card). The driver tried so hard to make it right and said he would be back with our cokes after he left I immediately called the store to let them know about the driver was coming back to get the cokes and reminded them to set a oatmeal cookie aside for him to also bring. The driver came back a little later and only had the two cokes so once again he said he would bring back a oatmeal cookie the staff in the store forgot to give him before he left the second time! I really appreciate the drivers effort to make things right and the store staff needs to work on their customers service and make sure they are completing orders before they go out for delivery.
