Ok so your girl over here has NEVER had foundation nor concealer on, but since my graduation is coming up I really wanted to get something for my special day. But I literally did not know where to begin.
I was very hesitant to come after reading several of the reviews on here, but it was one of my only options at the time so I decided to try my luck. When I walked in, I was kind of hoping someone would approach me because I am SUPER shy & introverted. But no one did so i decided to walk around for a bit, and then boom ā Jackie comes in.
Jackie asked if I was doing okay and giiirl, when I tell you i was NERVOUS š Jackie was super patient with me, and immediately got so happy about my graduation and made it OUR mission (not just mine) to find a good shade & brand of foundation & concealer. She took the time to explain different formulas and how they may sit on my skin type. She shade matched me SO quick and I was really shocked at how the foundations she picked for me looked on my face (in a good way!). I pointed out to her how i didnāt like the way some blemish areas were still showing, but told her that Iām hesitant on getting something full coverage. She was like āletās try a color correctorā and that made SUCH a difference, it was exactly how I wanted it to look š„¹š
Jackie was so open and friendly that I began to open up and ask her about other products like blush, bronzer, and highlights. Mind you, Jackieās makeup was ON POINT so i literally knew I was talking to the right gal. I wear the hijab so she even mentioned that and gave me tips on location of placement of things like blush based on that.
I knew the moment I began talking with Jackie that she genuinely cared about my goals for products, and wasnāt trying to sell me the new or the most expensive thing. She was a girl helping another girl out, and she went above & beyond. We got excited together and etc.
I left feeling so, so happy & fulfilled. Jackie asked me to come back & show her my graduation pictures with the products I bought that day, and I definitely plan on coming back to...

I had came here a week ago, looking for makeup to wear to a fancy occassion. All i needed was foundation.
The woman working there as a sales associate was a bit pushy about wanting to service me, but I took no immediate offense. It's her job to cater to my specific needs based on her particular knowledge of makeup/skin care. I also assume they may be working based off commission.
I explained that I was a beginner who was looking for a foundation that suit me. She had recommended me a product (a Stila foundation that she was trying to sell) that while I had never tried before, and was adamant that would look good on me. I am not particularly knowledgable about makeup, but the worker insisted that it was a very good product line, and that it was in fact on sale for $24. She even helped with a sample.
I decided to pick it up to try, as she helped pick my shade. However, after wearing it for half a day, I completely broke out on my face. Not with acne - my skin was pretty much falling off my face. Dry, itchy, scaily, red, and extremely painful. And embarrassing!
My face is still suffering, so i stopped using the product immediately, and tossed it away. I googled what could've been wrong, and it seems that the foundation she recommended was not for my skin type, as my face may apparantly be sensitive to the ingredients in the foundation.
I did not have a good experience with the product, but to add, I feel that in efforts of preventing this, an associate should try and be willing to cater to particular needs (skin type, allergies, etc), and should be cautious with the products they recommend (especially on a basis on what they are trying to...

I was approached by Bianca at arrival she offered help at that moment I declined she stated no worries I am floating around if you need me . The first product t I picked up was eye coverage from Becca time I touched in within seconds out of jo where another associate approached me and offered a basket I declined and she walked away To make a long story short I was asked this same question by Deaonne 3 more times where finally I had to firmly state NO I DO NOT NEED S BASKET AND DO NOT ASK ME AGAIN . Do you know unbeknownst to me this lady had also been approaching. My children too. My 15 yr old who is fair skinned and staight hair washed 1x but the other two were asked more then four times and I quote Mommy that lady at the store made me feel uncomfortable ā¦ā¦ā¦ I however got this info from my kiddos after I had already left the store SMH . This lady had been following and harassing my children all the while I was trying to get my beauty in jot mention I am a card holder. Employee of the month she is not . My kiddos stated she kept asking them are you ok and what are you doing ? I called back to the store and asked her why did she do this she stated I asked everyone my son stated mommy no she did not she asked me and Sasha Muriel times . From then mouth of a 8 yr old I was not in distress I was not hurt Mommy I was not and therefore after she asked the first time she should have stopped.
