I stay at this hotel quite frequently and this place went from being okay to now I do everything possible to avoid it. First they're inconsistently open. The hotel says they're open until 10:00, but many days are just not open at all. The food is consistently gone downhill over the years. They have several different stations, 2 of the 3 have changed multiple times in the last couple years. Each time the food has gone downhill. The pizza place is the only thing that has not changed completely. Pizza now is horrible. Wings are mediocre. And the best thing they had on the menu - the Penne alla vodka with meatballs is not on the menu any more.
The taco place, has okay tacos, but the rice and beans that come with the platter are not good at all. The guacamole tastes like packaged guac from the grocery store. And they sell it for the same price as the better quality guac at the bar/restaurant across the lobby. I didn't try the new salad / hot dog place. But it looked like no one was ever working there.
Previous review: It's not consistently open. Some days it is, others certain stations are, other days nothing is open. The burrito bowl place said they were open until 8:00 on the website. We came in about 7:30 and stood there too order. The woman working there very rudely barked 'we're closed' at us.
They also keep changed what was available. The potato bar became a salad bar. Then changed again into a burrito bowl place. They also changed the other station that sold soup and sandwiches into a taco stand and again into an Asian fusion place. The pizza station also changed their pizzas. Used to be good, by the slice or a whole pizza. Now it's personal sized ones that taste like store bought...

Bad: Service is very slow, regardless of the level of business. When there's 10 total people in the Hall, waiting 20 minutes to order a slice of pizza and receive it is excessive. Pricing is on the high side for the food quality, which is not the best either. The pizza is the one menu item that has been consistently good and I would actually recommend. Everything else is lacking. The potatoes are under cooked and lukewarm. The sandwiches are tiny and have a terrible bread to contents ratio. Unless you LOVE bread, then you'll think it's great. And the customer service itself is unrepentant. Waited for a potato for 15 minutes, watched people who ordered after me get their food. Went up to the counter, was told they were out of potatoes now and I'd just have to order something else. I said I didn't want anything else, I wanted my money back. The cashier complained that to do that she'd have to go get her manager and I should just get something else on the menu. I told her I didn't want anything else, I wanted my money back. She huffed off and eventually a manager came over and promptly ignored me, didn't even acknowledge me aside from telling me to swipe my card so that she could process a refund. Not once did anyone ask what the issue was or even offer an apology.
Good: Pizza is ok. Coffee is decent, but...
Read moreThis place is a great choice for large groups or kids so all can get different food choices. Foodie and comfort food alike; baked potato bar, salmon, soup, brick oven pizza, BBQ, salads, coffee and deserts with spiked drink options while bar is closed which serves regular drinks/beer and the popular frozen spiked popcicles. The rustic decor makes it a comfortable/non-stuffy place with long tables for groups along with 2-4 seat tables and worker bar spots with dividers. Something for everyone and the food is great. Staff was super friendly. Board and tables games also a win for fidgety kids. Across from local kid and dog park so we grab food and eat outside at...
