We came here after a day at the Art Museum. We stopped at the bar outside the restaurant before our reservation time. It was relaxing but nice to look around and entertain our eyes. The bat recommended a nice bottle of wine which we had with the free bar snacks. We were able to carry our bottle over to the restaurant to finish it. To start out with the host was very pleasant. The gentleman that greeted us at our table and served us our water was as well. Our waiter was knowledgeable and listened to my husband explaining I was a vegetarian and gave me some suggestions. We had the tomato and burrata for the appetizer. It was good we’ve had better but perhaps to other people this one is better then what we had at other places. You never know. The breads were soooo good. We have been trying to eat more healthy and it was really hard for us to not eat more than one piece each. We split a wedge salad and it was plenty for both of us. I got pasta and my husband got a steak that was cooked to his liking. It’s been a couple of months that we were there so I will try to come back after looking at the menu to remember exactly what the pasta and the sides we had to review them. Read moreTorali, located in the Ritz-Carlton, has become one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago. We usually come for brunch before spending the day on Michigan Ave, and the experience is always top-notch.
The food is consistently delicious—we haven’t had a single dish we didn’t love—but what really makes this place special is the service. If you’re visiting, ask for Ahmed. His level of customer service is unmatched. He’s incredibly attentive, even when the restaurant is busy, and always makes our family (especially our 6-year-old son) feel welcome and cared for. He remembers our orders from previous visits and always goes above and beyond. He's a hard worker and extremely humble.
Thanks also to the rest of the Torali team for creating such a warm and memorable experience every time. This is our son’s favorite restaurant in the city, and it's the first place he asks to go when we dine out.
Highly recommend for families, brunch lovers, or anyone looking for great food and even better hospitality. We’ll...
Read moreReservations were easy to get, place opened at 4pm. and we were set for 8pm and they were closing at 9pm. They asked for Vaccine Cards and IDs which was good. Seated quickly and staff was nice , no rushing and helped with questions we had. I ordered the Half Roasted Chicken with roasted potatoes. Wife didn't see Scallops on the menu , but asked anyway if they had them and the waiter checked and they were able to do it for her. Awesome, my food I couldn't stop eating and my wife said hers were great. They had Seagram so I was happy getting the only drink I'll have. Wife is a Chardonnay fan and got the house recommendation , we were getting close to 9pm so we ordered a dessert to split. Tiramisu was great and just plenty for us and when we finished it was time to close. They didn't rush us or the other table and we all left together and our hotel was across the street. So all great in my book , they had some other dishes there that were classic Italian that we planned...
