Subway — Restaurant in Chico

Absolutely horrific experience in this place. Both employees were rude and unprofessional to the two customers in line in front of me. They didn’t listen and seemed really distracted and had to re-ask what I wanted which was very simple (6” steak melt on Italian) I watched the one guy for the entire 15-20 mins I was in line make three online ordered sandwiches and was still making them when I was ready to check out which I’m sure made them cold by then and I still had to wait to pay just to get outta there. My first job was at subway back in the day and I know what it’s like to work the lunch rush shift with only two people and it’s not that hard. They basically threw the ingredients in a paper bag and threw it in the microwave so when I went to eat it it barely resembled a sandwich and the bread was undercooked and doughy the ingredients were all over the place and it tasted like trash. There was sticky soda all over the floor and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. And the whole combo: 6” melt, small soda and chips Cost over $10!!!! So unbelievably discussing and terrible. I will never be going back...

I had a coupon for a footlong sub, when I went to pay for my sandwich I was informed that this store is not a "participating location" and that I would have to buy a "bag of chips and drink" to use the coupon. Now if that meant for my coupon to be valid I would have to make that additional purchase that wouldn't make sense because all of a sudden then it's a participating location? I believe I might have misunderstood what the employee said, but even so I've been to Subway locations plenty of times before and correct me if I'm wrong if it varies from location, but I've been able to purchase just the sandwich without having to purchase chips and a drink before. I ended up making the additional purchase because I wanted my sandwich and $10.50 for a meal right now is not totally outrageous, I'm just annoyed because I brought water in my backpack because I planned on taking my sandwich with me and not eating at the store that's why I chose the coupon with just the sandwich because soda is not water. No bathrooms for those wondering but you should expect that at most Subway...

I live in Chico and received in the mail a sheet of Subway coupons which I decided to take advantage of. After going through the entire process of making my sub I presented a coupon for "any Footlong sub $5.99" and was told that this Subway was a "NON-PARTICIPATING RESTAURANT" and DOES NOT ACCEPT COUPONS. What an absolute joke. So instead of paying $5.99 for my sub I had to pay $9.49. Knock it off with this nonsense, this is why the Pizza Hut in Chico went out of business. Don't play games with...
