Now I know every fast food service has a timer for their drive-thru operations but today's was completely out of line. I know that each customer from the time they order to the time they receive their order has to be around under 3 minutes and today I felt extremely rushed. I parked my car after the drive-thru window and I got out because after I had asked for barbecue, buffalo, and ranch they only gave me two ranches and she slammed the window basically making me assume "this is all we got" .... After I parked and I walked in I immediately looked at the drive-thru employee and she put her head down because she knew that I was in the right and I was coming into complain. After that two supervisors and one manager literally stormed to the front and I was like "hey I know you're under a timed operation but there's no reason for you to be rushing me and still giving me what I didn't ask for, I asked for barbecue, a spicy sauce, and barbecue" she responded with "the Buffalo is going to be $1 each" "I understand that completely but instead of giving me all this ketchup that I didn't ask for and that you can keep in your inventory, why not just have told me that instead of trying to rush me out as the customer because you have a deadline on the timer." They looked at me like I'm crazy but I know exactly what I'm talking about because I've worked in fast food establishments before and I know that drive-thru operations run with the timer and if you don't complete everything in timely fashion Then your restaurant receives a lower rating from corporate.... My thing is, I walked out and on the way out I said "the customer is always right and until you learn that you will keep receiving angry customers like I just became" ....
STOP RUSHING PEOPLE TO GET OUT OF THE DRIVE-THRU THAT'S HOW ERRORS OCCUR IN ORDERS AND THAT'S HOW YOU DON'T LISTEN AND COMPLETE WHAT THE CUSTOMER IS ASKING FOR! HOW THE HELL ARE YOU GOING TO KNOW WHAT A CUSTOMER WANTS IF YOU'RE TRYING TO RUSH THEM OUT?????.....
AND STOP TRYING TO GANG UP ON THE CUSTOMER BECAUSE THEIR TONES CHANGED BECAUSE THEY'RE UPSET I'M UPSET FOR A DAMN REASON ... A DOLLAR FOR A SAUCE AIN'T NOTHING WE LIVE IN A CAPITALISTIC SOCIETY AND I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND ... BUT STOP TRYING TO THINK THAT THE CUSTOMER IS WRONG AND THAT YOU'RE ALWAYS RIGHT .... THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS AND IT WILL COMPLETELY SHUT YOUR BUSINESS AND DETERIORATE ANYTHING THAT IS...
Read moreCold,,rainy day. Got off the bus, wanted a hot coffee. Also had to pee. Went to this Wendy's, asked for the restroom code, and the tubby hamburger wench with the glasses says, "Restroom for customers only, Sirrrr". So I told her I was a customer but I had to pee before ordering. So she leaves the register, goes to the bathroom door and enters the code, taking great care not to let me see the code, as if she was taking out her whole $93 weekly salary from an ATM in the bowels of the darkest ghetto. Mind you, I'm 73 years old, properly dressed (if a bit wet), and asked very politely.
I returned to the counter to order my coffee, but although she saw me, she was just standing in the back, chatting with the drive-through attendant, and never came out to take my order.
If this is how she was trained to treat people, let alone customers, I'll just pass on this Wendy's. You should, too. They have guaranteed lost at least one customer, instead of creating good will by showing a little common courtesy, just a little kindness.
Shame on Wendy(s)...Big Dave would be flipping in his grave if he saw this...
Then I went around the corner to Banh Mi Paris Express, and got a nice sandwich and drink, served with a smile and a "Thank you for coming"...Best banh mi ever.
Let me see: Wendy's or Paris? Hmmm...no contest. Paris has a...

Pay for my food and the lady at the window passes the driver over the carrier ripped and all 3 large drinks came down on my lap soaking my carpet and one of my legs. As you can imagine I was very upset. I pulled over to take the empty cups, ice, and as much lemonade as I could out of the car. As soon as I pulled over the lady came and another employee came out with bags, paper towels and rags to help me clean my car. They were super apologetic and super concerned. Asked what else could they do to help. By then I had cooled down and realized that accidents happen and eventhough I was upset they were really trying to help out. We finished cleaning the car, they brought out my order to the car and refunded all my money without even asking. So in summary I was very impressed with the way the handled the situation, I felt like they really cared and tried their best. I can't ask for more. Me and my family got home, laughed about the incident and enjoyed out food. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but people always talk about all the bad and negative, I think it's a great opportunity for me to share the good and recognize...
