I used to live in Cleveland and frequented the original restaurant. Having been to the Middle East several times, Alladin's brings authentic, tasty Middle Eastern cuisine with a wide variety of options.
This new location does not disappoint.
What I like about the space- As they are finding their footing, wait times are very low. And the nice, quiet ambience sets it apart as a place in otr where you can actually hear the people you are dining with. They also did a nice job with the outdoor patio, giving multiple seating options. Servers are attentive and friendly.
What I like about the food- I'm a big fan of their pitas and rolled pitas. You'll have to try the different meats to find a go-to. This time my wife and I split a few items. Appetizer- The spicy cauliflower appetizer is DE-LISH! It's a taste explosion and reminds me of what Salazar does with their veggie apps. Soup- We also had the V9 soup with chicken. Seasoned well, the veggies and broth were nice and easy. Entree- For an entree, I ordered the Flavor Savor specialty plate- another hit. They load the plate, especially for the price in otr. There's Mediterranean greens, hummus, 2 kinds of meat- beef kafta and chicken mishwi served on brown rice with vermicelli and a falafel with a basket of pita. Dessert- can you say baklava? With several varieties, you can't go wrong. We had the pistachio. Sooo good. Perfect finish.
All delicious and a great price point for the area. There's truly something for...
Read moreI just had an interview for the Kitchen Manager position for the OTR location and it was the greatest interview I ever had.
I met with one of the owners Steve, General Manager Meagan, and The Development Manager Ruth...wonderful energy and so transparent. Also met Paul.
I met the kitchen staff great crew.
Extremely friendly and professional group.
They believe in solid core values of family, and work life home balance...which is a breath of fresh air from the places i have worked at.
They do 90 percent of their food in house and some things are prepared by lebanese women by hand at their commissary location and ordered and shipped to their locations.
Amish raised chicken so no huge steroid birds in your belly.
Their policy is to serve the freshest and healthiest food possible for the consumer.
I had several vegan and plant-based items from their menu so i am a patron. I have dined in and ordered online. 5 star customer service, 5 star packaging; when you order online, quality and quantity of items never disappoints and food is always consistent.
Now i see why they have an award winning hummus the recipe is a 3 day process that is so worth the wait.
I was tempted to stay for lunch; but didn't want to over stay my welcome from the interview.
If hired i will be inviting the entire vegan plant-based community to come enjoy food that is prepared with love.

I swore I would never set foot in this place after my first experience with Aladdin's Eatery in West Chester. However amnesia set in and I ended up going here with friends.
Well, the food is not bad, not great, but certainly not horrible. It's a tad overpriced for the quality of food, but the decor and staff more than make up for it. It has an upscale restaurant ambiance with a reasonable price. I'm giving it a 3 mostly for the gorgeous ambiance.
Maybe stop toasting pitas. I can tell then went stale a while back and got toasted to revive them. Other than that the food was good. It would have been better if there had been fewer pickles in my wrap. The sourness overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. Maybe substitute fresh Jerusalem salad, or even unpickled turnips instead of so many pickles. Aladdin's Eatery in West Chester - Catering order for birthday party
Horrible food. We ordered rice pilaf with lamb. The rice was mushy and crunchy at the same time. I think they pulled the rice from the steamer, realized it was crunchy, then nuked it in the microwave. The lamb smelled off. When I touched it I realized it was slimy. So slimey the slime left a residue on your hand. You could smell the rot on the steam coming off the dish. How inept and stoned do you have to be to not realize the lamb you cooked to 170 is...
