Answer: serious issue concerning the current placement and behavior of the greeters outside the narrow entrance of your store. This situation has become a significant issue that not only affects the accessibility of the store but also creates an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment.

Obstruction of Access: The narrow entrance is already difficult to navigate, and placing greeters right outside it only exacerbates the problem. It is often impossible to enter the store without having to maneuver around these individuals, leading to frustration for customers. In many cases, this blockage can cause delays, create congestion, and even impede people with mobility issues from accessing the store properly. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s an accessibility issue that needs to be addressed immediately.

Lack of Uniformity and Identification: The greeters stationed outside are not in uniform, making it difficult for customers to recognize them as store employees. This lack of uniformity undermines the professionalism of your staff and causes confusion, particularly for new or elderly customers who may not know who to approach for help. Customers should be able to immediately identify store personnel, but the current practice leaves a gap in this expectation. It gives the impression of disorganization and reflects poorly on the store’s overall operations.

Intimidating and Unwelcoming Behavior: A major concern is the demeanor and behavior of the greeters. Many customers find their presence intimidating rather than welcoming. The questions asked by these greeters often feel intrusive, and their approach can be off-putting, leaving shoppers uncomfortable. This can discourage people from interacting with staff or even from entering the store at all. The lack of a friendly, approachable attitude is a serious problem, especially when dealing with people who are simply trying to shop in a calm and safe environment.

Impact on Store Reputation and Safety: The combination of these factors—blocked access, unidentifiable staff, and uncomfortable interactions—creates a negative environment for customers. This isn’t just a small inconvenience; it directly impacts the store’s reputation. Additionally, if customers feel unsafe or unwelcome due to the greeters’ placement and behavior, this could lead to a loss of business and potentially harm your brand. The current situation is unsustainable and must be addressed to ensure that customers can enter and shop in a safe, organized, and welcoming space.

Urgent Action Needed: urge you to consider relocating the greeters inside the store, away from the narrow entrance and certainly not near the elevators. This would reduce obstruction and create a smoother, more accessible entry for all customers. Additionally, it’s essential that these greeters wear identifiable uniforms to make their roles clear and professional.

This is not just an inconvenience—it's a serious operational and safety issue that needs immediate attention. we hope you will take swift action to address these concerns for the betterment of both customer safety and...

Hello, Around mid-February 2022 After almost two years of frequent safe shopping mostly with my daughter in the child seat a Cincinnati police officer (badge #246 I think, can recognize in person) told me to move my bike next to coin machine and employee clock in I said I don't have to leave my property where I don't feel safe the officer said "well you do when I am here" I said "show me the Kroger policy where you have the authority to make me leave my property anywhere" the officer said " I don't have to show you anything" so I suspected there was no policy.

After looking online for Kroger's policy that I am not informed I continued shopping 2-4times as usual without incident until around September of 2022 there were 3 separate incidents that I was confronted by one specific employee and a manager who harass and intimidated me for 23min, the second was around 12min and the third was about 43min witnessed and video where I was being demanded to leave my bike outside by the curb when I said show me the policy and I will not bring my bike the manager said they don't have to show me the policy while others were bringing bikes in the store I said this is harassment and discrimination (witnessed video) to the guard and asked for his i.d. badge number he replied "I don't have one"

The last time going to Kroger I Chose right in front of management and this was also Witnessed and caught on video.

Please reply the policy within 10 calendar days from today's date Saturday January 28th 2023. Failure to provide me the policy in the time stipulated is your agreement: that there is no policy, and that I was subjected to and suffered more than an hour worth of torturous harassment intimidating discrimination by three individuals on three separate occurrences, and waiver of any defense in mitigation for damages or action for redress such as lien(s) on personal property, claim on insurance (hazard) bond, federal tort, action in...

Higher prices...jsšŸ˜ I am an avid bicyclist. After paying for my groceries, (with the help of an employee) I take my bags to the atrium to eliminate any boxed items so my bags won't rip while I'm riding home. Out of the blue the security guy approached me and said that someone said that I didn't pay for my stuff. I, being the person I am, asked him 'who?'. Of course not just like that...I am who I am after all, and I WAS MAD AS A...anyways i guess he realized that he'd get no where talking about a receipt, so he walked with me back into the store and pointed out the employee that had helped me with my checkout. I couldn't believe it. I started to laugh out loud. What are you talking about? I had a bag that I was going to use for my discarded trash of cereal boxes and whatnot, which I tossed to the floor (the receipt was inside the bag as well). I went back to my groceries (I could see my stuff the whole time 😃) then he came and started to apologize. I said, "man, how does THAT receipt you tell that I didn't steal anything? Does it say 'customer didn't steal anything' on it? You are a mess, man! And giving up the whistle blower? (if there was even a whistle to blow) WOW! That makes it easy to figure how you look out for Kroger, but not the...

Kroger's 1st compact urban store is a huge addition to Cincinnati's urban core. The fresh produce section is the highlight along with the food hall upstairs and ready to eat items. Meats and bakery sections are a little smaller than a typical store, but with Avril & Bleh down Court Street and Findlay Market a streetcar ride away - that's not really a problem. (Parking also isn't a problem. First 30 min free and first 2 hours free if you spend over $15.)

Classic experience with this chain wherever I go. The photograph of that chicken salad is just one glob of inedible tough fat covered with mayonnaise and whatever. This has been the traditional Kroger approach since I first encountered them 30 years ago. Never dreamt they'd evolve to dominate the market. Only in America. But hey, let's just relentlessly go after one candidate for his own behavior.
