Today was our first and last time at Coopers. I will start by saying the food was very good, but the service was so bad it ruined our experience. We were seated near the service bar where servers were constantly gathering to talk to the bartenders and eachother, and text on their phones. Our waitress kept walking by us even though we were waiting for her for refills, sauces, etc. just zoomed by. When we first arrived a different waitress brought waters to us and walked away without even giving us the chance to ask for a straw. Then another 7 or so minutes until our waitress came to take our order. No greeting, no talk about the specials, just bland dry apathetic service. Where I work as a server we all look after eachother and if I see someone elses table trying to wave down their server and they are busy I will go see what they need. The other servers and bartenders were just staring at us while we clearly needed help. Again, food was tasty but the unprofessional wait staff ruined...
Read moreWent here for lunch. Ordered a beer and the smashburger. The burger was the worst burger I have ever had. The consistency was extremely mushy, loaded with way too much caramelized onions and the cheese was non existent. The consistency was almost like a sloppy Joe. There was nothing fresh to put on the burger (lettuce, tomato’s etc.) so I asked for a piece of lettuce to put on my burger. They charged me $1 for a half a leaf of lettuce! The burger is a $20 for literally a bun, terrible mushy meat patty and a ton of caramelized onions, you would think the lettuce would come standard like on every single burger served in America does. I thought it was very cheap of the establishment to do.
Terrible food, mediocre wait staff and horrible business practices is why I will never go back here, and why I recommend everyone to avoid this...
Read moreCame to Cooper’s as a long-time fan, and the vibe is unfortunately gone. The lights were up like daytime, which made the place feel half-closed, the music wasn’t the same, and the energy was just off. There were barely any people there. It’s a stark contrast to past visits with my wife and even a wedding party. Back then it was an amazing vibe with great service. We were planning to bring a wedding after-party here, but once we saw the bright lights and low energy, we bailed. It feels like Cooper’s is trying to appeal to a different audience now, and in the process they’re driving locals away. Sad to say it, but this isn’t the Cooper’s we loved. Hope they bring back the dim lights, better music, and that old buzz. Drinks are still...
