Wang's Bistro — Restaurant in City of Frankenmuth

so my girlfriend & i went to wangs right after they opened, food was amazing service was absolutely horrid, got one drink the whole time & the server didn't even know the menu, new restaurant though so that's understandable. so we gave them some time to get some time under there belt & went back on 6/12/17....one of the worst decisions i've ever made, once again service was HORRIBLE. i knew the menu better than my server, we had to ask him for refills & he wouldn't bring them all or they'd be wrong. (atleast we got refills this time) he had to come back to our table three times to redo our order, then when food started coming out he brought something we didn't even order, & got an order wrong....BUT THATS NOT ALL, he brought all the meals to the table & mine wasn't there so i gave him 5 mins figuring basic LO MEIN took a little longer. 5 mins later i had to ask if it was coming & he replied with "what did you order?" YOU TOOK MY ORDER THREE DIFFERNT TIME. my food came out 15 minuets after i asked, everyone else was done eating. he brought me it & i told him i no longer wanted it, i came to eat dinner, if i wanted take out i would've ordered take out. then he has the audacity to bring it back 5 mins later & say "i brought it to show you how good it looks, are you sure you don't want it?" I WANTED IT 25 MINS AGO! now it's time to get our bill, our bill came with the lo mein (that i didn't even receive) on it & the dish no one even ordered, when i bring it to his attention it's the end of the world to that place. took 3 servers, our server & 2 cooks to figure out how bad he messed up our entire dinner. when it comes time to pay i gave him my card, he comes back & says he needs my PIN, would anyone give him your PIN? NO SO WHY WOULD I?! i had to walk behind the bar & type my pin into there card reader, moral of the story,

Nasty Nasty Nasty ! If I could rate lower I would! Shame on these people! First I do not believe it is Japanese. It seems to be chinese trying to pretend they’re Japanese. On the surface if you don’t know better you might be deceived. Tried to seat us at a dirty table with food remains from previous diners, set with clean plates, napkins and flatware!?! Can we ALL say GROSS?! I said no way! Then tried to seat us at another dirty table! I was like shocked! I looked around and the other tables around us all had food remains on the table with clean plate, napkin and flatware! Like OMG really?! Asian girl saw & heard all of this and stood there doing nothing! I finally ask a seemingly American girl what kind of place is this and reiterated the situation. She said let me finish with this table and I’ll come clean one! I ask why when the other girl is still standing there doing NOTHING?! I said do we need to get our things and just leave? No response and I’m betting it was the embarrassment of the whole situation. Needless to say we got on the phone and checked timing at Shahi in Saginaw. They were open for seating now ….as since covid shut down they had just take out. Went there and as always had fantastic food & stellar service too! And as always CLEAN! I’m so disgusted with wang bistro I’m calling the health department. Obviously they don’t know or don’t care about cleanliness & food safety standards expected in America! Update to Christmas time 2021 That was 4 years ago! NOW, after I recommended this restaurant to everyone I know FORGET IT! My family has been loyal to Wangs, throughout COVID when there was PICK UP ONLY. So they messed up my order, no big deal, this was around the beginning of December, I ordered Coconut chicken, received plain dry chicken. Called, told the manager, no problems, free meal when we come back. Family comes in for the holidays, we go to WANGS, told them about the order, they have no recollection of it. I explained I always get the same meal, different sushi, they have no care. I will not recommend you ever again and your run in Frankenmuth will be done. Spent hundreds on sushi alone and forget my free $2 chicken? This business doesn't know how to take care of its loyal customers. I will spread the word and will never be back....
