Stopped in during happy hour. Ordered the "lightly fried" ravioli which looked liked the cook forgot them in the fryer. The chicken tenders were fine and the slider burger was good(but small, which the waitress did explain). Never saw our first waitress again who failed to explain that certain beers were exempt from their BOGO happy hour beer/wine offer, and unknowingly my husband did not order a beer that was included. Had to ask for a glass of water. Also had to go looking for our bill. Attached is a picture of the ravioli that was on the verge of being burnt. We were the only patrons in the restaurant section. Maybe things would have been better in the bar area. Won't be back.

This was a great find when we were staying at the Clayton Plaza. Very good food and helpful staff. I liked that the music/TV volume was at a reasonable level and allowed our family to have conversations. The back room looks really cool and would be great for a private party. Wings were delicious.

Great spot to get away of all the corporate vibes of Clayton. Come in to this local watering hole and get Busch beer for 2 bucks and get the Field’s sliders and chicken chili. This place will always be an institution in Clayton!

This is the worst service I’ve ever received at any establishment. Not only were the staff not wearing mask which is against covid regulations. The waitress mixed up orders at the table and gave me a drink with pineapple which I am highly allergic too. After lying about there being a manager on duty we had to go indoors to get one. The manager came outside and blamed our party for the waitress’s error and proceeded to try to charge us for the barely touched drinks that almost sent me into an allergic shock. I’m writing this review on my way to an urgent care with a swollen lip. I do not recommend anyone eat here and I’m calling the heath department

Update: we definitely told you all we were leaving, my exact at words were “at this point I want nothing else from you I am about to leave” we were never served food, it was indeed my first drink as I arrived at 11:45am and how do you fake an allergic reaction?? No one in our group was driving a Toyota or plotted to defraud your business in anyway... no need to scam anyone 3 well employed Black women attempting to enjoy a local Sunday brunch which we frequently do and your establishments reckless disregard almost killed me and has cost additional medical bills. The health department will be at your door in the morning and they have all of my information... you’ll be receiving a copy of my...

I was given a recommendation from my coworker to try the food out, so me and wife had a date night and tried the food out. Our bartender was extremely nice, she gave us recommendations for the food and told us about the chef in the kitchen. We had the Spinach Artichoke, Lobster Macaroni and the Chicken Street Tacos. It was flavorful and the perfect blend of seasonings per dish. The chicken street tacos with the elote corn was so authentic. At the end of the meal, we seen the executive chef come out the kitchen, he greeted each table that had food, ask them how they liked the food and asked if they needed anything. Haven’t been to a restaurant where the commitment level for every guest was the same, at each table he visited, he introduced himself and smiled. There were people that came up to him, which my guess would be regulars and they absolutely adored him. We will definitely be back to try all the other great items on the menu. First experience since at a restaurant post-Covid and they have definitely set...

Second time stopping by for a beer after work. New to Saint Louis, so admittedly by myself. Worst customer service I have experienced at a bar and I am in my 40s. First time ever writing a review. I am told that they focus on the regulars - for sure. Sat outside for 20 minutes, others outside were served. I had no one approach/was ignored. Ultimately, I got up and went to bar to get my drink. I got a menu at the same time, returned outside. During this time a waitress came out served others and wasn’t interested in seeing if I wanted to order food even though I was looking at a menu. After another 20 plus minutes instead of ordering food, I just went back to bar and closed out my tab due to zero service. Went to another bar and got dinner. Bar lost money. Strangest thing. Owner must be rich. Very 1950s mindset. PS - bar had no more than 10 people there. Went out of way to avoid serving me. Could have easily served me and kept...
