Addy's Diner — Restaurant in Cleveland

Addys is a cute diner with a homie vibe it was pretty busy Saturday early morning everything looked great omelette pancakes etc everything looked great. I didn’t like that you couldn’t add things on or substitute your order . I ordered a spinach omelette and was able to add cheese but normally I would have ordered a spinach mushroom ham maybe even tomato so it’s upsetting that the choices are so selective. Everything looked great and tasted great would have loved to tip the cook ! What was more upsetting was my server she easily had an attitude or “tone” about her. I understand it’s busy but don’t rub that energy on your customers. She had a very snappy irritated attitude! Also my friend does not eat pork he asked her 3 times to make sure it was plated SEPARATELY so it doesn’t touch the rest of the food. Not hard right ?! Your job is to serve the customer but unfortunately this wasn’t done correctly and the whole plate had to be sent back. I understand this is upsetting to a cook it was upsetting to us because we were hungry ! I’m unsure if the food was actually remade or just re-plated but is it what it is. When someone has a preference it should be HONORED this women rolled her eyes and huffed while making the order .SMH. I personally feel it was rude to give us our receipt right after asking our food to be remade it was giving pushed out the door vibe but again whatever. food was alright but the service was absolutely horrible. we came as a bigger table of 9/10 with 3 small children and from the moment we walked in there was one waitress that was absolute rude to us. at first i didn’t mind it because like i said we were a bigger table and were trying to scramble with the children but she was completely unwarranted for. we all had finally got settled and were eating and not even 5 minutes after the food was delivered to the table she rudely brought the check to us when we didn’t ask for it yet (and she never came to check on us) and was seemingly trying to rush us when they were still seating other people. we came in around 10:40 and she kept telling us they close at 12 yet she was seating people at 11:30 (around that time we were leaving and our grandparents ended up leaving early because of her poor service). moral of the story, the food is alright but the service we received from that waitress was...

We went to Addys diner in the arcades based on other reviews. It was so disappointing. Upon checking in we were told there was a 20 min wait and it was reasonably busy so that was fine. Once seated, however, we were at a two top right outside of the cafe that was very grimy. The table was sticky and the floor equally bad. Our table was seriously lopsided so anytime either of us put an arm down coffee got everywhere. A woman who was not our server kept cleaning it up but made no effort to fix the table was made. We sat down at 10:45. At 11:05 I asked if our server was going to come and take our order. She came around 11:15 or so and by 11:45 we still had not received our food, no explanation for the delay either. A table next to us was in the same boat and we saw other people who had been eating with plates that looked mediocre at best. We had to leave. I would not recommend this...
