Coming to Cleveland isn’t complete without a trip to Aladdin’s bakery downtown. We get pita, olives, hummus and French feta - the smoothest kind there is. They have delicious foods, I love their veggie stuffed grape leaves, mom loves the tabouli salad, and we all love the breads. This time I found a new product - Everything bagel flavored Pita - OMG!!! So good and fluffy! This is the only place I know you can get fresh baked pita bread, this is 10 times better than any breads you find in stores because that’s already days old. They added tables so you can have a quick bite of whatever you buy, my friend got a falafel sandwich and my husband got a spinach pies, which also has feta and onions. It’s a must stop for us whenever we visit, I look forward to it!

Aladdin's is, to me, a Cleveland institution. The baking company right near Progressive field is both a great little cafe and small Mediterranean (Lebanese) grocery. The prices are amazing in both the cafe and grocer. Their baba ghanouj is probably my favorite in the city but it isn't vegan if that's your thing. I always get a spinach and feta pie, a favorite for me hot or cold. In the grocery don't miss the rack for day old pita and the olive buckets! Day old pite AT the bakery will still be fresher than anything you find in the store and it's literally $0.50 for a package. A wonderful quirky little place with really great food at really great deals. The next time you're heading to a game or the west side market stop in here on the way.

I havent been down in a while since the pandemic. They really changed it alot in the past year. They added a little grocery section in the back but I dont like that they don't have any prices on anything. Nothing was marked? Its hard to shop when you don't know the price. I always come for there meat and spinach pies when I have a craving. They are the best in town! They have a good variety of traditional Lebanese dishes and sandwiches that you can get to go or eat it. There pies are so fluffy and made with fresh ingredients daily! You gotta try one. Prices are decent too. Great place for a healthy lunch stop!

My parents and I have been going here my whole life. I had not been there since 2017, I think. Yesterday, I went there with my dad and my little girl (her first, but not last time!) and I thought the bakery/store looked so beautiful, neat, and organized. The bathroom smelled good(air freshener-good, to be clear) and was exceptionally CLEAN! There was a young man stocking. I believe I heard him called Jacob by another staff member. He went out of his way to point me to the items I was looking for and he was also knowledgeable about the pricing of the items as well. I do not know the names of the rest of the staff but I will say that all were friendly. I was cashed out by a beautiful young woman with a head covering. I didn't catch her name but she complimented my daughter's beauty and said she herself worked with children. I think it is great when people engage both me and my little ones. Aside from the notable friendliness, cleanliness, and neatness of the bakery, I must of course mention that their food is SO MOUTH-WATERING AND DELICIOUS!!! We live out in Willoughby Hills and, let me tell you, it is ALWAYS worth the drive. I crave their stuffed vegan grape leaves(best I have ever had), spinach and feta fatayer, baba ghanoush, and Tabbouleh. NO ONE compares to Aladdin's Bakery, especially on the recipes I just mentioned. As a matter of fact, I am enjoying a variety plate right now. My father bought a tray of their Baklava so I will be having that for dessert. Theirs is the BEST! I am so happy to be of Lebanese ancestry because if I were not I am not sure that I would've ever been introduced to this delicious cuisine. I will mention one small improvement that could be made and that is making sure all food items have price stickers. I always have to stick to a budget so it would be helpful to me to be able to add up my groceries and not go over my limit at the register. That didn't happen btw. I sure would not take away any stars over price tags because this business is lovely and overall I am 5-star satisfied. Great job. Keep up the good...

They know how to use their spices! Yum! Sadly, I saw two mice. There are mouse droppings. Before this.... I asked if they had freshly made grape leaves; they said they'd check. I continued shopping for other items. Some fresh pita, olives, and a few items. Back to the counter, I got some more baked goods and realized I didn't have any feta. They said it's in the back coolers now. I went and got 2 containers. Back to the counter, a person asked if I was all set. I said I. I'm just waiting on the grape leaves. Little did I know they've been there waiting as I shopped. They didn't have fresh ones. They decided to give me the older ones. - had they talked to me, I would have come back and placed an order for some non meet ones also. So I admit I was about to say something... I felt it; the oh no, don't be a Karen. But I wanted fresh made baked goods, by the way my other baked goods seemed fresh. Other than the kibby balls (which is normal, but $1.75 a pop, I'd like them made same day or next day, not frozen ready to heat) But then, as I'm paying and about to say how I feel and displeased, I am that the grapeleaves are old and no one bothered to talk to me before boxing them up. I saw a mouse. I just took the food and left... Now, I don't want to eat over 70$ worth of food. So I threw it out. The mice was up where they cut their meet and have toppings; they ran down and into the kitchen. I'm 42. I've been eating here since I was 19 My dad has been eating here since idk how long before that. This is also a factory making pita...

Food is great! Been going there for many years when living in the Cleveland area. Moved to Columbus in early 2024 and order pita bread every 6-8 weeks for UPS delivery. Never shipped when told. But eventually received. Always have to call and check on order. These are the recent responses we got after numerous calls on various days, which was ordered on 8/5/25 by the way. "Yes it shipped ", "It will ship today ", "It will be delivered tomorrow", "I'll ship it today", "It'll be delivered today ". Lie after lie... Today is Thursday 8/14 and still nothing. Another call today and yes, "It will ship today ". It's unfortunate that I'm willing to pay for shipping and can't get the service. If you can't handle shipping, don't offer it!!! Or put someone in the position that can handle it!!! Beacuse the person in charge...
