Disclaimer: This is a shortened version of-the show and may be a little skewed and I was 100% sober. IFyou are looking to experience a Murder Mystery this is NOT A MURDER MYSTER dining experience if you are looking for who killed Mrs. Peacock with the Lead Pipe. Instead this opens three stewardess singing a Musical about why "Dick" is short for "Richard". Then this is a theme throughout and it is quite a sexual show becoming quite weird. The Captain will come to your table and welcome you aboard the ship- well thank you! Act 1 The dialog is long, boring and at times you can not understand. Break. Sign ups for karaoke- wait what?? Dinner. Audience is on stage sings karaoke songs, crowd is clapping, laughing cheering. This was honestly the best part of the show, until a guy does the worm on stage a girl falls over him and stumbles off the stage over him- crowd gasps- back to weirdness. Break. They announced about 40 people's birthdays and everyone had to sing happy birthday. Girl sat on stage and 3 people had to dance around her and cheer who danced the best. Back to weirdness. Dessert. Act 2 more dialogue makes less sense, blah, blah, then the captain of the ship comes out high on gummies( part of the act) and sings/strips you feel like you are at a male strip club- he wakes up- more blah, blah, blah, blah . More blah, blah, blah , blah,. Girl come out in robe saying she fell overboard, blah blah, blah blah blah, show is over- Turn in your ballots. Interviewed the people who got the murder and questions right. Overall, it was a circus at best, the staff were nice, the actors are great -the script they have to work with is horrible! Give them a real murder mystery. Don't waste your money. I have to say we will...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I were looking forward to this, as we both enjoy murder mysteries. It sounded like a good time. But, neither of us had a good time. I knew from the description there was an interactive element, and there was opportunity to question others, etc. But, I didn't know you really have no choice... they call people out at random to get involved. As a couple of introverts, this was immediately not for us. I'm sure other people would enjoy that aspect, so I tacked on an extra star for that. So, that means I would've only given ONE star. Why? Because the actors are extremely obnoxious. Everything is in-your-face and over-the-top obvious. You sit at a table of strangers who may all handle the bread roll grab bag before it gets to you (no thanks). The food was mediocre at best. I'm sure some will love it. But, if you like solving mysteries and riddles, like subtle or witty humor, or are introverted at all, this event is NOT for you. My girlfriend and I ended up leaving halfway through, once dinner was served. It took a lot of willpower to stay that long, but I thought the food may partially redeem the...
Read moreI don't usually leave reviews but this review is ONLY for the introverts.
I'm introverted and do not like attention in a small crowd and I was sort of expecting more of a watch and figure out show, instead this was surprisingly interactive. You can get away by not participating, but please do not tell anyone it is your birthday/wedding etc if you don't want attention. This isn't an event I would pick for myself, it was a birthday gift BTW.
Food was okay, I don't know what I was expecting for $68 though. I got the chicken parm and it was fine.
Service was excellent, server was great. Wish I got his name.
Atmosphere was fine, felt like a pseudo podcast. Only thing is the mics were a bit loud for the small area of the room.
Cast was great, don't get me wrong. Guy who played Mr Onlyfans (lol) reminded me of the lead singer from panic at the disco (in a good way, very energetic).
The main issue I have in which I would've given 5 stars was with the subject matter. It was like 25% about everything else and 75% innuendos. I can do some innuendos but at times I felt the story was...
