Trudy's Cheesecakes and Sweets — Restaurant in Cleveland

The concept of the combination of a nutrition shop and a bakery felt very odd. The cases had 8 lovely cheesecakes, 8 stuffed cookies (one flavor) a tray of cupcakes (one flavor) but also in the cases (between the cheesecakes and cookies) were salads and one lone sandwich. Odd. The friendly gal behind the counter kept sniffling and wiping the snot from her dripping nose with her HAND while eating something and smacking her lips. So gross. The beautifully decorated cookie was put into a paper sleeve, smashing the top and leaving frosting on the inside of the package. It’s a mess so I’ll have to wait to eat the messy cookie...

Let me begin this review by saying their cheesecake has always tasted great and their customer service is normally adequate. My problem lies with a custom order of a 6 inch cheesecake, which was completely wrong. What I was presented with, was far from what I showed photos of, compared flavors to in the store and spoke to the associate about. I was offered four slices of cheesecake or a refund. I chose the refund and to drive 45 min each way to HEB.

I do not suggest ordering anything from them .. stick to the pre made slices in the case.

Every single dessert we have tried has been simply amazing! I can’t recommend them enough. My only complaint is choosing what to order when I’m there—it’s tough to pick a favorite flavor since they are all so delicious. Even the ones I thought I wouldn’t enjoy turned out to be a lovely surprise! I haven’t had the chance to stop in for lunch yet, but it's definitely on my list. I can’t wait to experience that too!
