Horrific experience . . .
No actual cash registers were open. Of the four kiosks, only two were available. I place my order via kiosk, enter my placard number and am directed that my order would be delivered to my table. I then wait over a half-an-hour for my food. Then I see this customer carrying a tray of food around the store, starting that this isnât what she ordered. Not one employee listened to her, so the gentleman in her party (Iâm guessing her husband) says that theyâll just eat the food that was delivered to them. Thatâs when I discovered that my order was given to them in error.
So I go to the front counter and wait ten minutes before I can get an employeeâs attention. And the employee attempts to hand me orange juices. I finally get someone who kind of knows what is going on and explain what happened. She then hodge-podge starts throwing items in a bag and hands it to me. I had ordered a chicken biscuit meal and a bacon biscuit meal - Both biscuits had stickers that said sausage. So I go back to the front counter and deal with the same employee again. When I tell her that I received the wrong order, she has the audacity to rip the bag out of my hands and unwrap each sandwich to show me that I received the correct items. Then rudely, she says âthey were just wrapped wrongâ - Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting that sheâs touching my food!
I immediately asked to speak with the manager and she tells me that she is - How sad is that! I ask for her managerâs information and she writes a name down on a receipt. When I ask for a phone number, I once again get her attitude.
I tried calling her manager when I got home, but she is off until Monday - Trust me that I will be escalating further! I will also never set foot in this McDonaldâs...
Read moreBeyond abysmal. I wouldn't expect much from McDonald's. It's really kind of sad, when you go somewhere expecting decent service and mediocre food, and end up getting bad service and bad food. I went on several occasions, and each time was worse than the last. One day, the McChicken didn't taste right and had an unusual texture. I went back another day, same problem, and the breakfast egg, cheese, and bacon biscuit was odd as well. At this location only. The ketchup machines were either down or spraying ketchup everywhere. Even after managing to get ketchup into the cup without getting it everywhere (never thought I would have that problem), the ketchup was coppery tasting, and very bad, I would even say inedible (never had that problem before either. The drive through service was either way too nice and robotic, or extremely rude. I asked for sauces, and they just slammed the window and ignored me, even as I was waving at them. Another time, the very last straw for me, was when I ordered a large sweet tea, thinking, okay it's warm without ice so I'll let them put it in. I was handed the beverage, and it was so full of ice that it was touching the lid. Meaning the cup was probably like 1/3 actual tea. I asked for one without ice, and got a nasty look, and was told not to do it again and ask at the speaker box the next time. This person had no sympathy for me, and couldn't have cared less. As if it was all my fault! It was degrading and I felt like I was scolded like a child. This...
Read moreJust last week I figured I'd give this McDonald's across the street from Ron Jon's another go at it.
If I ever have a McDonald's craving, I usually drive down to the one in Cape Canaveral, simply because their food is fresher, and their service is 10's friendlier.
A couple days ago I visited this establishment, figuring I will give it another try instead of driving down to the Cape Canaveral location.
I asked for extra pickles and extra onions on a quarter pounder, and a double cheeseburger with shredded lettuce. Of course they're not ready to just grab out of the window like that, so they had me pull up to the #1 spot to wait.
The only reason I sat there as long as I did is because I wanted to see just how long this would take. 13 minutes later, they brought out my two sandwiches. If they think this is acceptable, they should just close down the restaurant altogether. I have never waited that long for any fast food, and simply because I asked for two sandwiches with "special instructions" they had to have me pull up and wait that long for my food?
Completely unacceptable. It's like they did it intentionally, to punish me for asking for something different than what is on the board. Also, they simply are not polite, nor friendly, like the McDonald's in Cape Canaveral.
Do yourself a favor and drive to Cape Canaveral if you want McDonald's...it's 100% worth...
