UPDATE: the very next day after this incident happened, we received a call first thing in the morning from the main office. They were extremely apologetic about what happened the previous day and went above and beyond to make it right. I can say that my opinion of this place has been changed, and we look forward working with them again in the future. I’m amending my star review because it’s clear that this company cares about service and this incident was a one-off.
We hired this food truck for an event, with a 3-3:30 arrival time, service for 4-7pm for 100+ people. At 3:55, we had to call and find out why they had not arrived. They said at 3pm they discovered that their generator wasn't working and that they were trying to find a new one. We understood, and gave them a bit more time to locate one and show up. At 4:20, after guests started arriving, after not hearing from them, we had to call them back, and they offered to bring us food for our event but not a truck. Not ideal, but okay. I ordered 90 entrees, and said "can you be here in an hour?" And I was told yes, they would be here in an hour. At 6:20, after multiple calls and "we will be there in 20 minutes" type answers, we still had no food, and luckily our other food truck (Raging Bull) that we had hired did a great job serving all of our guests. We called them back and said the event was wrapping up, and we didn't need the food. Their driver showed up, and "didn't speak English" and started unloading containers of food. We said, no we didn't want the food, and we didn't want to be charged, the event was wrapping up. After getting the main guy back on the phone, he was VERY upset with us (!! Really??) for "not telling him we didn't want the food". Um, no sir, you didn't show up with the food at the agreed upon time, that is, NEITHER OF THE AGREED UPON TIMES. Nor did you communicate with us in a timely manner. He then proceeded to send my assistant (who worked diligently with them prior to confirm the event and make sure all expectations were known) texts saying "thanks for wasting our food". That's 3 strikes sir. You didn't deliver and we tried to give you chances. Will not be booking this food...
Read moreIt did not make me cry... Today I made a deal with a stranger, I approached the Bad CHX food truck parked out side of the Texas A&M Zachary building and I made a wager with the lady tending the truck. I told her that I love spicey foods and would consider myself a chilihead before asking about the lava level heat option they had. Upon hearing this we made an arrangement that if she could make a sandwich hot enough that it made me cry, I would write a google review for her. Well here I am writing a review.
The food is excellent and the size of the sandwich was HUGE. The sandwich came with pickles and coleslaw and I loved every bite of it. Although the sandwich failed to make me cry it did make me sweat and that usually means that I am at about a 5/10 on my personal heat scale. The sandwich was not too hot that it threated to hurt my stomach but still kept me warm inside like good hug! I think for most people they would think the sandwich is too hot but I thought it was perfect. The sandwich struck a perfect balance of heat while maintaining flavor. The chicken was thiccccccccccccccccc and juicy with a lite crunch on the outside, just the way you like it. The pickles and the coleslaw cut through the sandwich like some kind of triple threat in my mouth commanding my tastebuds into sweet surrender. I give this place a 5 and if you try it,...
Read moreI went to this food stand in College Station on the evening of 3/5/25 at around 9pm. There was heavier set man, probably in his late 20s to thirties, with black hair and a beard who spoke with possibly a middle eastern accent. He was the only man working that night. He was extremely rude to me. I ordered a "bad chx meal" ( comes with 3 tenders and toast) for 10.99. He took my order without asking what spice level I wanted and just left it as "no spice". I requested mild spice and he put maybe 1 tiny drop of sauce on 1 of the three tenders. My order also didn't have toast. When I asked why there was no toast, he stated it was offered only if I purchased the extra fries for 3 dollars. I pointed out to him that the menu says the base meal comes with toast. He grabbed a cold slice of bread from the butt of the loaf from the fridge and threw it in my box. He was very passive aggressive and should not be in the service industry if he treats...
