Last week I traveled to the College Station area and had an awful experience. I sent an email to the GM after my visit about my experience. I have yet to hear back. I placed a to go order online, as I've done in the past at several Blaze Pizza locations. I travel all over Texas and have every Blaze Pizza bookmarked on my Yelp. While pizza isn't always my go to meal, I visit Blaze because of your allergen friendly offerings. I'm allergic to gluten, dairy & eggs.
My order was very typical, gluten free crust w vegan cheese. The online ordered showed it would be ready at 8:55pm. When I arrived at 9:03, I was told it wasn't ready. I stood and waited. I saw it grabbed out of the oven, an individual placed a sheet on top, showing my allergies. Then the lady cutting the pizzas, April, threw down a previously used slicer on my pizza and called another person's order. I said, "oh no", she glared at me and said "what?" I said I am anaphylactic to dairy and I didn't want the slicer to touch my pizza. She replied with an incredibly unprofessional tone, "So you want me to go get a new slicer? fine" she rolled her eyes and walked back. I tried to get someone else's attention so I could take my uncut pizza and leave. She came back and I explained again why I needed a new slicer. I said, "I'm sorry you're having a bad day", she said, "I'm not you're rude so I'm going to be rude back".
I can't even begin to tell you how disgusted I am by not only her behavior but the carelessness. I was simply requesting a new slicer, not her next paycheck. Her final comment, whether or not I was rude, (which was definitely not my intention), an employee should not be rude back. I have watched several other Blaze locations put my pizza together and slice it and every single location has automatically used new utensils, I've never had to ask.
At the close of my email I did state to the GM, “I"ll wait a few days for your reply before posting a review on Yelp & Google. I don't want a gift card or an apology, I'd like to understand what will be done to make sure none of the above happens again.” And again have yet to get a reply...
Read moreI have been to Blaze before and I LOVE IT. I am vegan so this is a great place for me to go that's accommodating for everyone. However, I went there this evening and went through the line just fine until I got to the end. I didn't catch his name, but he appeared to be in charge and having a bad day. I understand that, I've worked in the food industry and know how frustrating some days can be, BUT that does NOT give someone an excuse to treat customers poorly. Before I paid, I watched a man come up to the counter to ask for more slices cut into this pizza. The employee proceeded to roll his eyes, slam his pizza down and not respond when the man said thank you. This was off putting, but I paid for my meal and waited. When he called out my name he did not ask about any finishers like they usually do, and put my pizza up top without asking me if it was for here or to go. With the given circumstance and his demeanor, I was reluctant to ask for it to go but I did anyway. He slammed the pizza box on top of the counter, threw my pizza inside and walked away. I couldn't even get a word in before he ran off. My boyfriend was there with me, and when he got his pizza it was already packaged to go, but was not cut at all. Seemed like spite to me. I sat and watched him do the same to multiple customers and I've honestly never had customer service like this with someone being so rude. I love blaze, but this experience left me feeling like I dont want to go back if that's how the employees...

My husband and I went yesterday to get some pizza I have Loved this place but this person is not making it any better . I went in (in other separate occasions) 10:40am , door were open . I went in and order a drink (at this time I wasn't aware that they open till 10:45am) I proceeded to check out to get a drink to what he reply "I don't have registers at the moment" Who Doesn't Have Things Ready To go prior to 5Mins to open?! I walked out and found elsewhere to eat . The next day I went it 10:45AM on point . Again, the same guy was there not prepare I send a complain to corporate and their reply was " sorry about that , thank you for letting us know how to better ourself" no coupons , no I am sorry, nothing of that matter. So even they were useless. Forward to Yesterday 5/12 my husband and I order a single pizza to share and infront of us there was a younger couple that order a similar pizza as us . Few minutes pass by and we got OUR pizza (the paper said my husband name on it) so we started eating ... Then the couple that was infront of us had gotten Our pizza and We had Their pizza! The tall slim guy with the goat beard automatically pointed at us (my husband and I ) and yelled across the room " I think yall grab the wrong pizza" Nah fam, We grab the pizza that Had MY Husband Name You were the One that Screw their Pizza! This guy needs to get his things in order! BLAMING OTHERS FOR HIS...
