We ordered 2 dishes from this location and had it delivered via Door Dash. The food arrived quickly, but not only was part of our order missing, but the food was absolutely sub par. Our order consisted of 2 pasta dishes, 1 of which was just noodles and sauce, the other was the spaghetti and meatball. The spaghetti arrived with almost no sauce. The meatball was dry, and sitting on top of noodles that were almost crunchy they were so dry and undercooked. The other dish we ordered (creamy pesto and bowties), arrived more or less fine, but it's evident that the sauce was very basic tasting and underwhelming. We also ordered extra garlic bread that did not arrive, but the order we DID get (included with the dish), was fine. Our food was picked up by Door Dash and arrived very quickly, almost 20 minutes before the DD estimated arrival time. That being said, the food arrived cold. I understand that food won't be hot when you have to drive it across town, but the temperature of the food was so cool, that it was obvious that this food was made quite a while ago. The bowtie dish's sauce had started to congeal and the dish was basically a block of pasta. Overall, to be called "Mici's Handcrafted Italian", I would expect quality dishes with fresh ingredients. Our order (ONLY our order, not including delivery fees or tip) was $40 and consisted of noodles, sauce, and 1 meatball (that was just dry ground beef with little to no flavor). The spaghetti dish was inedible, and the quality of everything else was absolutely sub par. We would have been better off to order from Fazoli's or a fast food chain as I've had better quality/tasting food from the cheapest and most basic Italian places and paid far less.
I would say to skip this place. The 4.3/4.5 ratings for the 2 Mici locations here in Colo Spgs convinced us to give this place a try and I'm hoping this review will save many of you from spending too much just to be disappointed and still hungry. I would recommend Old Spaghetti Factory or Paravincini's for the same price points, variety, and MUCH better taste...

It wasn't crowded and it went pretty quick. My pizza was for the most part pretty good but still a tad soggy but the crust was yummy. I got some milk chocolate gelato which was really good but very small for the price. Makes me wish I would have gone up a size. I would come back to try something different like maybe some lasagna or salad next time. Thank you Mici for making it right.
What an absolute chaotic mess! This was my first time and probably last time to utilize them. I ordered around 530 pm a 10 in pizza. I arrived to pick up and so many people were standing around waiting for their orders. I stood there from 610 to 643ish waiting for someone to help me. There was NO organization. No smooth operation. Just a bunch of upset hungry customers. One of the workers was slamming dirty dishes and setting the number holders down hard. She was upsetting a few of us. Plus she never apologized for my wait. Got in my car and noted it was 647. Got pizza home and it had sat so long in the warmer it was soggy. Ended up throwing out 2/3 of it. It looked like it might have been good when it came out but don’t know as it was in the warmer the whole time I waited. Time for...
Read moreOrder Accuracy: Received all food items. Did not receive additional croutons or cheese on my Caesar Salad despite paying $1.99 and $2.25 extra respectively. Did not get any parmesan packets, a red pepper packet, a plate, or a set of utensils.
Portions: 16" Pepperoni Pizza was good. Caesar Salad was good. Pint of Gelato was good. Gallon of Lemonade was good. Received like 20 small noodles in my Chicken Parmigiana with Penne Marinara. For $14, that item was a tremendous ripoff.
Taste: Chicken Parmigiana-Delicious. 16" Pepperoni-Acceptable. Caesar Salad-Dry. Not enough dressing and I felt like I was shoveling nothing but leaves and small chunks of parmesan in my mouth. Gelato-Fantastic. Lemonade-Standard? Doesn't seem to be made in-house.
What I'd do differently next time: Get the Gelato from Mici Italian and order a Caesar Salad, Pasta, and Pizza elsewhere. Between a typical taste on the pizza, subpar portions on the pasta, lack of sufficient side elements in the salad, and the price, I was disappointed.
For $65.70 before various delivery fees, taxes, and a tip... I can get better elsewhere. Besides the Gelato. I'd go back for the Gelato and skip everything else. Their Banana Dulce de Leche flavor...
