QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

We used to come to this QDOBA as an alternative when Chipotle was skimping on portions—and initially, it felt like the better choice. Unfortunately, our last two visits have been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.

Last time, my husband’s bowl was filled while mine had noticeably smaller portions. We didn’t catch it until we got home, so we gave it another try today—but it only confirmed the decline in service. As my husband watched them prepare our food, he had to repeatedly ask—four times—for them to add standard portions of ingredients. Each time, they would barely add anything and eventually stated it would cost extra. The sour cream was scraped from an empty bottle when a full one was in sight, and only after asking again did they finally switch.

The server was visibly rude and seemed intentional in avoiding proper portions—from the rice to the toppings. Nearly $30 for a meal shouldn’t feel like a negotiation at every station. And on top of all this, they forgot the tortillas we paid for.

With prices climbing, we expect fair value and decent service—not to feel like we’re begging for what should already be included. Sadly, we’re walking away disappointed and...

Went in to order a single quesadilla. First of all was greeted very rudely. Second the second the employee put his gloves on, him and the cashier decide to pull the cabinets with the food on top away from the glass/wall where I was standing. With his gloves on he decides to put his hands underneath the counter to move it then goes back to making my food. VERY DISGUSTING. Second of all after the quesadilla was finished everything that melted out of it on the grill, he SCRAPED into my bowl ON TOP of my quesadilla and then just brought it to the register without even asking if I was done ordering what I want on my food. Takes his gloves off and I tell him what I wanted on the side. Tells me the total I give him my cash but then goes back to grab my sides WITHOUT GLOVES. Again VERY DISGUSTING. I’m very grossed out and upset with my visit and I don’t plan on visiting anytime soon, especially with how Unsanitary, rude, unprofessional, dirty and disappointing this location was. I wanted to be able to watch the NCAA Championship so I placed an order online to pick up on the way home from work. I arrived 10 minutes before my pick up time and they asked me if I was there for a pickup and I said I was and told them my name. I watched them take care of GrubHub orders and people who came walking in but never saw an order that look like mine so I finally approached them at my pick up time and was told they didn't receive my order. And they didn't seem too concerned about making sure my order got taken care of.

I was not happy and told them that I would just pay for it again so I could leave but they said they would just make it for me now and proceeded to throw it together but left out several of the things that were ordered that I had already paid for. The food was good as usual but it appears that they care more about their GrubHub deliveries these days. So if I go back I will just order in store rather than risk the problems with placing an order...
