Flame Cafe is nothing like your typical museum food place. Normally restaurants associated with a museum are not that great. They’re meant to feed your kids when they have a melt down in the middle of the day. However, this place is worth a visit all on its own. Which is easy to do since it’s separate from the museum and no ticket is needed to go in. The food is internationally themed, with a few special nods at Olympic cities. Everything is made fresh to order. So while you will need to wait for your food, it’s well worth it. I tried the Paris pizza and was delighted by the subtle blend of Swiss and goat cheese. I don't know what they were thinking but none of them should be working in the food...

My husband got the fish and chips and said 1 piece was so rubbery he could hardly eat it. Definitely not worth the money! Staff made me get my own glasses of water, even though they are behind the check out stand. As you can see, the atmosphere and view of the mountains is...
