Went for dinner ordered chicken nachos (which were perfect), chips and salsa, fountain drink and the Primo Marg (1st off the website says this is a $10 marg but when you get it the cost is $14.00 which is ridiculous for the awful marg) The very young bartender took order and immediately went back to chit chatting with customers at the other end of the bar who she was either flirting with or were friends as the rest of the bar and restaurant was dead We waited 20min before approaching either bartender in hopes they would bring the marg but both were chatting with guests/friends When I did approach the bartender she got the other younger bartender and the young bartender seemed rude at first and was going to look at my receipt and then seemed to remeber she had not made it -when she did bring to table she apologized and when I tasted it it was the worst margarita I’ve ever had …the orange juice or something tasted off and maybe old and it just wasn’t drinkable so I brought it back up to her and mentioned that it tasted very off like the Oj was bad- she offered to remake with fresh Oj so I had her do that and again it was still awful…not sure how you mess up a Margarita but it was the worst I’ve managed and worked in the bar industry for 30yrs and managed some of the top tourist bars and the service and drink was disgusting -I’d rather have a 5 dollar cheap Marg over whatever that is that is being overcharged for and called a marg The barstaff being more interested in chatting with friends or whoever instead of taking care of customers while the place is dead is sad Once happy hour hit they were making drinks and people were walking away with their drinks before even leaving the counter while I had to drink my drink after I almost finished my meal -I did not drink the marg, my friend that was with me chugged it as he didn’t want to leave a $14 dollar drink and just wanted to leave I won’t be back to this location as this is not the first time service was bad I live an hour away and when I come to Springs for dr appts I usually stop in afterwards … I will Pick someplace else’s where the staff is focused on customers and not chitchatting instead of working I understand the art of chatting as a bartender but this was a bit much and if it was my staff she would of...
Read moreI really like the fact that there’s a fuzzy tocos on the South side of Colorado Springs. I visit this location very often and enjoy the staff that works there. After many months of visiting this establishment, the bar seating is just horrible and pretty much up-seats you from hanging out there, enjoying the atmosphere and purchasing more drinks and food along the way. Maybe that’s the concept is to push you in and out quickly and not be a longterm customer. The seating is close as you can get to what you would expect in a federal prison. I had to bring my own stadium cushion just to watch a sport game there. The seats size are close to a baby high chair and to hardware is often falling apart (screws loose) on several backrests, to the point if you put pressure on the backrest you could fall backwards as I did once there. This is surely a lack of safety and checklist maintenance oversight for fair ware and tear from a high traffic ability of customer usage.. I’ve visited all of the other Fuzzy’s in the Springs and this location seating is the worst. Little things means a lot and can make a huge difference with customer’s experience and the creature comforts that comes along with it. I know this is a great experience of the business to endure, but I’m sure I’m not the only one feeling this way, as I’ve been in many conversations over the past year and each person has commented on the same observation without any prompting from me.. Tonight, I’ve just about had enough sitting at the bar areas and leaving with the establishment with nothing but rear end pain. Respectfully, some things shouldn’t be a shortcut for choosing decor over comfort. If nothing else, make the seats average size for adults at least, who will most likely sitting at the bar and other high table...
Read moreThis has to be the worst fuzzy's in the city. We go to fuzzy's probably once a month. We really like the breakfast tacos. Today we visited this location to have breakfast. I ordered 5 bacon breakfast tacos and 1 chorizo one for my wife, 2 kids and myself. While we were waiting for our food we ended up getting drinks and all of the soda tasted very weird. The Dr pepper didn't have enough syrup, the coke was clear, and the Sprite tasted really odd. I let a worker know, she said she would take care of it. Once we got the food I noticed that that none of the bacon tacos actually had bacon on them. And the eggs were dried and wrinkled looking. Obviously overcooked, but they sent it out anyways. After talking to the worker she said that she thought I only wanted potato egg and cheese tacos. That's not what I ordered.
After seeing the eggs and knowing none of the soda fountains were working correctly I didn't want to wait for them to remake the food, I had no confidence it would be good. So I asked for a refund. Nobody apologized, nobody seemed to care. Somebody refunded the order, if that was the manager he didn't seem to care at all. And he only refunded the 5 tacos they messed up, he still charged me for the one taco they were able to get correct. Which still had gross eggs. We didn't take any bites. I expect better service than that. We love fuzzies, when its cooked correctly they...
