I'm reviewing from a different view point, I was a door man there for a few months. I'm fully disabled & I showed the manager that hired me (paul) all of my x rays, Dr notes & everything that says I'm fully disabled & can't stand for more than 15 min at a time without needing to sit. Paul said that was fine cuz I'm just checking IDs n watching the doors. A few weeks later I was told no sitting down during my shift, which was 5:30pm-2 am. We didn't even get to leave until 230 3 most nights cuz of clean up. So after the sitting became an issue, he decided that door guys were now gonna be responsible for clearing tables, which I don't mind even tho it wasn't originally in our job description. We don't get breaks per say, we can take a smoke break when it's slow enough. So there's the no breaks & then paul saying that if the door guys didn't clear tables for the servers he'd take it out of our tips. He basically went back on his word of me sitting being okay because of my situation & he knew that prior to hiring me. Also come to find out someone I sent there over the weekend asked for me & they were super rude to her about me. This place is a joke! They overwork & underpay the door guys & go back on their word! And paul was rude to me EVERY day! Just knowing I had to work with him gave me anxiety attacks. so I quit.... This place is full of the FAKEST people I've ever met in my life & it makes sense knowing this is...
Read moreI had a birthday party reserved for 25 people and did not realize that this place had another location out of Dallas, TX so when my party arrived, there were no reservations. But most of us have paid already to get in. We were treated with rudeness and attitude and the manager that evening (11/22/24) did not want to accommodate all of us nor refund our money. They had plenty of room upstairs for all 25 of us but they were not willing. We were told to scatter wherever we can fit. It was my husband's birthday and our anniversary. Friends came from Aurora, Denver, Divide, Palmer Lake, and one flew from Georgia. Even the employees were so unwelcoming and had an attitude. It was so embarrassing and distasteful. We were soooo lucky to find another place where we are nicely accommodated and treated with such great service. This place was such a nightmare with the way we were treated. We felt robbed. It was the worst experience any of us have had, and for us to be business owners ourselves, this was such a disgusting experience.
In all fairness, Cooper has been great over email responding swiftly and has apologized for other people’s poor behaviors. He also is offering an opportunity for a better experience on him. Sadly, this doesn’t not make up for the damage that was already one. However, I do appreciate the offer and the attempt to...
Read moreThis was my first time checking this place out.
The manager on Wednesday 8-21-24 was extremely rude and unprofessional. I purchased a milkshake from Frozen Gold and was told by BOTH doormen that since it wasn’t alcohol, I could bring it in. When I went to the bar, immediately the bartender told me I couldn’t have it in the building and needed to leave. I had no intention of arguing or defying the policy here, and explained that both doormen said it was okay. His response was to get aggressive, yell that he’s the manager, and that there’s no outside food or drink. I will respect policy 100%, but figure out your policies instead of yelling at a customer who is completely ignorant of your policy.
If you can’t get consensus on your policies, can’t communicate those expectations to your team, or even do the bare minimum of explaining any confusion cordially, maybe you don’t need to be a manager.
The doormen were very kind and professional, and apologized to me for the...
