Taco John's — Restaurant in Columbia

So I'll start by saying that the service was good, initially. The food was good and we got a large sweet tea. We walked over to Barnes and Noble after eating, we went back to get a drink refill when we got done at Barnes and Noble. Taco Johns has a sign on their machine saying one free fountain refill. I didn't even think anything of it, but I asked for the one free refill on the sweet tea and showed them my receipt. The lady acted confused so I pointed at the sign. The guy (assuming owner) was standing there and said "No, only on fountain drinks" and I asked if he could just pour the last bit of tea out because I assumed the refill was on any drink and asked for soda. He proceeded to say no and said we had to buy another drink while laughing. I figured his greed was bad enough so I said nevermind and told him a drink for $3.50 should be refilled no matter what. We were gonna get more to go before we left the mall, but after that, I didn't think they deserved getting anymore...

Menu board shows “2 crispy chicken tacos” priced at $4(and some change). Ordered that thinking I would be getting 2 tacos for about $5. It was actually 2 for about $10. This is really misleading. Menu board should read: “crispy chicken taco” priced at $4.xx/1 or $9.xx/2 2 taco combo for $x.xx. After talking to the lady at the front, seems like this misunderstanding happens a lot. Was offered a refund for the second taco which I declined, I just think the board could use updating to avoid future misunderstandings that may lead customers to not return. The taco consisted of 2 tiny chicken nuggets some sauce and a gracious handful of lettuce - to me not really worth it. Potatoes ole were priced clearly and fairly and...

I hadn't been to Taco John's in years and was not disappointed upon my return.

I ordered a spread of different burritos that I could eat throughout the day and overindulge on and couldn't have been happier. Burritos were absolutely stuffed with deliciousness.

The burritos I got were easily 1/3 - 1/2 the times larger than a Taco Bell Burrito and their ingredients tasted a lot better. Not only was the burrito larger, they didn't seem like most tortilla shell like Taco Bells burritos can be. The ingredients were also mixed together better than their competitor. This is all a major plus for me.
