First of all the reason this place has such high ratings is because it's paid for. They tell you to give a 5 star rating and they will give you 1 of 3 free dishes, e.g. (Fried Calamari) and something else. That is illegal to pay for ratings. I hope they get caught doing it. I also said that to the manager, she tried to recant what she said to my daughter. Too late, you already said it now. Nicole was the only person taking orders, waiting tables and helping plate the food while the manager sat on her phone in the back, with a line of customers. You would think she would help. This was an African lady, Then there was the bartender who was the greeter, waiter, bartender and helped plate the food. The cooks were nice but the food was horrible. No seasonings, hot and oily..this food made me so sick the day after purchasing it. I woke out of my sleep @ 3 am with a bad burning in my stomach, for 2 week after my stomach burned and I ate 2 containers of tums. I still have issues and drink milk to coat my stomach daily and eat tums. Heartburn, sour stomach, indigestion and whatever else. Food is poor, too Hot for no reason, bland food, over cooked mussels and under cooked slimy shrimps, hush puppies was ok. I am from Philadelphia and had a tast for the southern seafood specials we call Frog Mo Stew! Not here. Update to Corporate...The Manager (African Lady) literally asks you to give 5 stars and show it to her and they will give you a free appetizer with your food...look at the reviews and when the person was actually in the store. Most if the people were doing the review right there before they...
Read moreReview: Juicy Crab Harbison
My recent visit to Juicy Crab Harbison with my mom was deeply disappointing. The air conditioning was not working, making the dining area uncomfortably warm. The sweet tea was over-brewed with a terrible aftertaste. A customer dropped a glass on the floor, and it remained there for over 20 minutes, despite the manager being nearby and not assisting her struggling staff.
Upon seating, we noticed multiple wet areas on the floor without any warning signs. We had to inform our server to place a wet floor sign to prevent accidents. This was our second visit, and sadly, it reinforced our poor impression of this location. The overall experience was far from pleasurable, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking good seafood.
At checkout, the manager asked if everything was okay and I indicated "no" and she wanted off without a simple "is there anything i can do", "I'm sorry for the experience" or simply "can you tell me what was wrong"? I was not looking for anything to be taken off because I understand it's seafood, but it's the common courtesy of genuine customer service. you would want to at least try to make some valid compromise for a return visit however that was not the case.
Moral for today's market is to stay home and cook saving me approximately...
Read moreThis place will have you truly questioning what's wrong with people. Last time I came here for my birthday 01/19/2025. Came in around lunch time and the place was almost empty. We waited to be sat for 40 mins. We ordered food I asked for sauce on the side and it came out with the sauce on it. No problem right? It wasnt a big deal. Food was decent even though it taste like it's been sitting in water all day and has lost most it's flavor. After you dip it in butter it doesn't really matter. So tonight, I get off work and wanted seafood only place was open was Juicy Crab. I ordered Ubereats. Paid $20.70 for crawfish, rice, potato, and egg. I also requested sauce on the side. When my food is delivered I ONLY RECEIVED PLAIN CRAWFISH AND NOTHING ELSE. Either the employees can't read and don't have the capacity to put 3 items in a bag or because it was close to closing you guys decided to just mess up my order and not care simply because it was a delivery order and did not have to deal with customer in person. Probably the worst location I've been too. People work hard for their money. Learn better customer service and check to see if employees have...
