I genuinely NEVER write reviews on google, but just had one of the worst customer service experiences so I felt the need. Maybe five people in front of me, but the entire order/check out process probably took over half an hour. One girl working out front until a nice gentleman comes to help. He was very efficient, so that was okay until I got to check out. The group in front of me gave $5 and some change to pay, but the girl working the register only put in that they paid with $5. They were trying to explain to her how she gave them the wrong change, which yeah, it wasn’t much but it’s the principle behind it. So the girl just stares at them while they explain multiple times. They finally got so upset that they left. At this point my ice cream has melted all over the floor. I finally get to the front and ask for a slice of cookie cake (confused because the display case had a few pieces missing out of the cookie cake), but I guess they keep the cookies that they can actually serve in the back? So she was super sassy when I asked about that. I just think you should train employees a little better for the customer service aspect and I guess on how to count money? Read moreEveryone knows the cookies in the case are display at this location. I left a few minutes ago and wanted to purchase a slice of cookie cake with icing. In the display there was a cookies and cream cake. When asked what I wanted I stated, “other than the cookie and cream cake flavor, is there any other cookie cake slice flavors that are available?” because obviously if it’s on display, there are cookie cakes in that flavor and others Employee says: “This is a display.” I say: “Yes I know. What flavors in the cookie cake slices do you have available.” Employee: “That is a display.” I say: “Okay, what flavors in the cookie cake slices are available right now” Employee: “We don’t sell the items in the case because they are display.” I say: “Okay can I get a penalty butter and m&m cookie.”
I don’t know why this interaction was the way it was but maybe give these employees a break after 2 hours and not 4. Comprehension is big in customer service and I have no idea how I could’ve been clearer. Most marble slabs have the cookie slices in the silver warmers or something… just like the cookies. Read moreThe ice cream was great and I love the concept of marble slab getting to choose your mix ins. But I am left with such a weird feeling about this visit. One of the girls working was uncomfortably rude. (Very light blonde hair) During my entire ordering experience it was like I was bothering her. I only asked to sample the brownie batter and was nervous to ask her to try a second flavor. There was no one else in the store and all I ending up ordering was a bowl with cookie dough and sprinkles mixed in.. super easy!!!! You could just feel the negativity radiating off her and could tell her coworkers were being affected by this.. it was extremely odd. Probably won't go back anytime soon.
