Kiki's Chicken and Waffles. I wanted to like this place. Ugh! Should have known that we were able to walk right in at the dinner hour on Mother's Day. Floors were sticky. Table was sticky. Our server reeked of marijuana (though she was polite). Prices were high for what was offered on the menu. We were just going to get up and leave without ordering but felt bad to do that so we ordered a few things off the menu. 3 of our party had a Belgian waffle and a beverage. This 7" Waffles was +$6.00 each. I had the red velvet waffle. It had a powdered sugar glaze, a dollop of whip cream and a strawberry cut into fourths. This was +$8.00. It was also still runny in the center. The last person in our party actually ordered chicken and waffles. It came with 1 waffle and 2 pieces of breaded and fried chicken breast. Best seats ever. The recliners are amazing. Snacks are a bit on the pricey side but that’s to be expected. Surround sound quality was excellent. A friend and me saw IT and the surround sound was chilling and made the experience something to remember. The movie was also 2+ hours so laying back in the recliner I was completely comfortable the entire time with no butt pains. Theater goers as always were loud and annoying. Had the guy a few seats over adjusting his chair, checking his phone and crinkling his snack wrappers. Woman in the next row would talk to the movie in a loud speaking voice. I was interrupted by staff who walked up the aisles with a blue light. The light distracted me from the movie and didn’t like that. Grew up going to Publix 25 plus years. Always loved Publix chicken and subs. This location is the worst store I've wver seen. The deli is atrocious, slow, rude and you have to demand extra veggies on a sub. Last straw was getting a box a chicken that included 4 thighs, 2 legs and 2 wings, dooped us out of the breasts in a mixed box. This was the 3rd time we sifted through the boxes to find a good one and got took. Fried in burnt grease loaded with grease filled breading. Going to Bi Lo for my chicken from now on.
