Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Columbus

Local delivery!!!!!!!!! This location is by far the worst third-party delivery pick up location. I urge anyone that have deliveries coming out of this location to watch closely. If your order went through two drivers or your order is taking longer than usual you’re better off canceling that order. It is a clear indicator that the store is having problems, fulfilling orders, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why! 🤦🏽‍♂️ they don’t have no problem with staffing. They have enough people in there to be able to put orders out in a timely manner I’ve noticed over the last 3 1/2 months for this location that it’s been a consistent problem with getting orders ready in a timely manner multiple times I go to pick up delivery orders that are clearly marked as ready for pick up that has not been started on therefore causing drivers to have to unassigned orders!! I cannot stress enough, how frustrating this is To deal with consistently having employees ignore customers and delivery drivers with their backs turned, also, in the mornings, there is a young lady who is normally working putting the orders in the bags from the make line y’all had her doing that for quite some time now and she has problems paying attention to how orders are coming up she picks and choose what she wants to get ready instead of doing them in the order that they came Which is a huge problem !!!! it would help a lot if management can let the staff know to stay tentative as customers come in and out the door, most importantly, third-party...

Update: after my last few visits, I felt it appropriate to update my review. The thing is, while overall things are still great, there are many inconsistencies at this location. Primarily in the drive-thru. It is about 50/50 on whether or not I will get a proper greeting from the drive-thru staff. I would say less than 50% of the time do I get a pleasant send off. This is HUGELY unlike Chick-Fil-A as a whole, as they are typically, and I mean 99.9% of the time, the friendliest people in fast food you will ever meet. I am not sure if it is the management of this location (I’m leaning toward that as I have encountered this with multiple different staff members), or just the talent pool they are hiring from. I find the latter hard to believe because just 10 miles from here the service is night and day. I will continue to visit this location because I work and have class 5 minutes from here, and I will update the review accordingly if anything changes. That being said, be leery if you’ve come to expect a certain service from CFA. This location may disappoint.

During the grand opening the food was amazing, but as Grand Openings go they HAD to be on point for at least the first week. After a while I decided to go back when there weren't long lines to catch them at their calm state. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal with a large Waffle Fry and a Large Lemonade. The lemonade is always good and the waffle fries were great. My only issue with my visit was the chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a far cry from what I ate during the Grand Opening, the chicken was no longer crispy, everything on the inside of the bun was soggy and the bun on the outside was HARD! Almost like it was stale. When I bit into it the hard bun was so difficult to break that it squeezed all the soggy veggies and chicken breading out of the sides and a amassed on my food tray. It was still edible and there wasn't any sign of spoilage but the bun was like jerky and the mess it made all over my hands and tray was displeasing.
