We went through the drive through on Monday. I used my debit card which I hardly ever do. The fraud unit from Synovus contacted me and there had been multiple charges made on my card on Wednesday. None of which I made. Someone had to have taken my number and made those charges. I am not like your regular Debit Card person who uses it frequently. I use it rarely, because my husband always has his. The numbers are not the same. So be careful when using your card at the drive thru. The manager would not come to the phone or talk to me about the matter.
It was between 3:40 and 4:10 at the drive through on Monday, January 22, 2024. I called told them what happened and the young girl wanted to tell me her mom.
I asked for the manager and it took several minutes and a guy came on the phone and said he would look at the tape and called me back. He didn’t call back. I called the next day and was told by a girl the tape was looked at and the girls were questioned and nothing happened. I asked for the manager again and she said he was busy and wouldn’t come to the phone. This is beyond ridiculous! I don’t use my Debit Card much because my husband uses his. So I knew exactly when I used it and then Fraud Unit contacted me on Wednesday about multiple charges I hadn’t made. Please let me know what you find out. I am having to get a new card because of this!! It shouldn’t of...
Read moreI was in Columbus just for the day and I happened on this place trying to escape the rain. Best dining experience I've had in a long time. The converted bus station had an old bus sill outside but the interior took on a diner decore. As I made my way to the counter at the back I was greeted by a friendly and attentive staff with every interaction.
I ordered a sweet tea as I looked over the menu. I decided to go big with a rib and chicken finger platter with BBQ coleslaw and their house fried bread. My sweet tea came to me in a quart canning jar that was not so sweet that it took my head off but just enough to reward me for what I'd accomplished that morning. I began to eye the dessert case as I waited for my meal. Inside were whole pies each with a mountain of meringue on top. Below them, more mason jars; pint-sized banana puddings with their own mini-mountains of meringue.
Once my meal had arrived, I knew there was no need for dinner that night. Huge portions! No baby ribs or frozen chicken here. The ribs were tender with a smokey flavor that dld not overpower and the tenders' homemade breading had just a hint of spice. Just like the sweet tea, Country's approach to flavoring seems to be to enhance rather than...
Read moreI used to love Country’s. You can see my previous review below. Something has happened and the workers no longer seem to care about order accuracy. Literally every time I order now the order is missing at least one thing or missing an entire meal. Last time I ordered several meals including a hamburger steak with extra gravy. Get the meal, and there is no gravy or onions at all and it’s missing fries. They put some runny stuff on it and gave me a container of tellow gravy. This is incredibly frustrating when you are picking up your food. You have to check it in the drive through or you run the risk of getting home to find something is missing. Why not check the orders before you release them to the customer? Also, how do you run out of cornbread? The chicken breast are so small now. It’s becoming a rip off! Out of conrbread on 3/1/24
Old review that is no longer 100% accurate: I love Country's barbecue! Turkey and dressing on Fridays is my favorite. I try to call in my order so it's ready when I get there. Staff is very friendly. I like the other locations too but haven't been in a while. They also have a drive thru with is convenient. I love their stew and cornbread. Sweet tea is good too. Country's on Broad...
