Ordered here tonight for the first time, and will definitely be going back!

We had a big order — the tenders were juicy and big and lightly breaded, and well-balanced (didn’t even need sauce, I think); the waffle was malty and sweet; the wings were delicate and perfectly cooked, and the seasoning on the breading was sharp and peppery, cutting through the richness of the chicken very nicely. The jollof rice was subtle and tasty, and the kelewele (savory spiced plantain nuggets) was absolutely the right choice for my dish; the caramelized/spiced/peppered combination was a great combination of flavor and texture. Even the onion rings were flawless — no big, inconsistent chunks of breading or anything, just a flaky, consistent, crisp batter. Handmade? Tasted like it.

The staff was about their business, also. I have to say especially, that the young lady and the gentleman on staff were very kind and were invested in my experience as a customer — first experience could not have gone better, I think. I visit this place often. The food is wonderful and always fresh! I love the cheeseburgers, fried chicken wings and the nachos are awesome! Edited as of July 18th 2024 I will not be back. Last time the chicken was not cooked to order and it did not have extra seasoning as I requested. The last time I came here they sold my food to another customer and didn't even bother to remake my food again. I work at the post office a few colleagues were asking for a recommendation for catering. I will tell them to reconsider after this second horrible experience in a row. Even when I called the owner had the audacity to say I told you before we do not have the four piece wing dinner any longer. Smh I never ordered a 4 piece dinner. I always ordered a 6 piece dinner and sometimes even two dinners when I treated my sister Nicole. We won't be back. I am giving one star because there is no other option but consider it -⭐️. Let’s start with food: worst food in town, we ordered buffalo chicken which was not edible, chicken was chewy as if raw and cooked chicken were mixed together, second one was chicken Philly, chicken was fine but in both bread was not toasted and stale and dry. We ordered French fries too which one old like a day old and refried. They knew we had kids with but didn’t bother to even give us fresh fries. Now the Service: person on the counter was least bothered to entertain customers. We waiting for more than 25min for this worst food that wasn’t cooked properly and day old fries.
