Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Columbus

Stopped into Jersey Mike’s today and they were clearly running behind and struggling to keep up with demand. They initially accidentally gave my sub to someone else, but they happily remade it for me in a timely manner. As an east coast girl myself, I can confidently say this was the BEST cheesesteak I’ve had in the entire Midwest! If you want to do it right, sub extra provolone out for the American and add lettuce, tomato and mayo! You won’t regret it! Now back to the service- even though they were clearly getting their butts kicked, everyone, especially Patrick, was unbelievably kind, welcoming and warm to each guest! Great job guys! I have never had Jersey Mike's. My boyfriend has. So we decided that it was my time too try. Well. We definitely regret it now. My boyfriend and I haven't stopped vomiting, going to the restroom. I'm 100% sure we got food poisoning from this location. It was the only thing we had yesterday. Now we are suffering. Something needs to be changed about whatever is going on there. I have worked in the food industry for almost all of my life. At least 10 years. I am very aware that food poisoning is preventable. So something is up. My fiance and I went tonight and tried different cheese steak sandwiches out. They were perfect. Everything was cooked/prepared to perfection. It was still hot when we got home 20 mins later as well. 10/10 We were welcomed with friendly faces and attitudes. They made sure to make it easy with the menu up above and someone answering any question you'd have when you order. We are very happy we had dinner from here tonight and will have many more. Thanks...
