worst service ever I run a fast food restaurant and I would fire each and everyone one of the employees there. First off after sitting at the speaker and being ignored for 5 minutes I decided to pull around there was a car at the second window so my son attempted to get one of the employees attention after the what i assume to be manager hince the dirty button up blue shirt looked at us annd kept walking we finally got what i assume to be the cook’s attention he spoke with the manager and told us we could make our order at the window. We finally get to the window after about a 10 minute wait and order our food our when he told me the price which was 25$ Which i knew wasn’t nearly enough because i ordered food for 6 Kids I told him that doesnt seem right he. hands me the recipt and closes the window after waiting 10 to 15 minutes to get our food we told him the order was completely wrond and he we told him what we were missing he said thats going to cost more which i aalready knew and that was fine i would pay for the rest of the food. He then shuts the window and walks away he comes back with the food that i had already told him was wrong so i told him what we were missing which was 3 Fries a smoothie a cheese burger meal and a 10 piece meal he says i added the 10 piece meal to the bag but what about everything else i was missing i asked him could he just ring me up for my missing food again he shuts the window and walks away about 5 minutes later a big guy with dreads and his belly hanging out comes to the window like hee doesnt know what going on i explained to him and he tells me he cant make any orders because his systems are going to shut down and he needs to get the rest of the cars out of the drive thru before his systems shut down. I told him I just want to pay for the food i didnt get he says something to the manager and then asks me what Im missing I tell him andd the manager brings the food I told him i was still missing another smoothie and he says Im going to have to pick another drink because the smoothie machine that i just got a smoothie from was down. This is ridiculous the employees were not in uniform and definitely gave very horrible...
Read moreThis morning I used the mobile app to order breakfast while I was also on a work call. Upon receiving the order I wasn’t paying attention and as I took the 2nd bite of my sandwich I realized it was missing the egg and cheese. After my call I pulled through the drive thru to have it replaced, mind you the store is very busy with around a dozen cars in the drive thru. At the 2nd window, we check my phone and I actually ordered a different version of the sandwich as the one I wanted has the words egg and cheese in the title. They informed me that I had what I paid for and I had to move on or I would have been causing major delays.
I elected to go in the store, because I felt like they should have given me an option to get to the solution where I get the sandwich i wanted and pay the difference. The general manager was unwilling to do that because the store is in a high shrink area and she would be taking quite a bit of loss if she did that for everyone. I told her that I understood, but that I was not trying to get something for free, or I wouldn’t have come inside and offered to pay the difference.
She had a new sandwich made and reminded me that she won’t be doing this again if I’m making mistakes when ordering.
I’ve been a manager for 25 years and much of that in and around front facing customer service. What she did was a tough decision to make and I didn’t make it any easier in letting her know that essentially I wasn’t satisfied. Not only was it tough, but she had an audience of employees waiting to see what she would do?
Obviously, I think she did the right thing because I’m completely satisfied, but also she used her training and experience to tell me what the rules were explain to me that I had gotten what I paid for (twice) and then after that, made a judgment call from the gut that I wasn’t trying to burn her. Both as a customer and a fellow manager, customer experience advocate I appreciate her and her staff for being firm but not rude, and I recommend this store to anyone who...
Read moreI cannot have salt on my fries. I have worked fast food before, and have worked McDonalds. The person at the drive thru rolled there eyes when I asked for new ones because the ones he had given me had salt on them even if it was by accident. I understand sometimes the no salt fry dispenser can sometimes get salt on it however I know the difference between having new fries and fries just dropped back into the fryer that had salt on them previously. There is a HUGE difference between a fry with no salt on it, and fries that have salt but just the middle was clear due to being in the fryer, so the ends tasted like you were biting into a pocket of salt. Not only that but every single one of these food is so old is stale and extremely cold to the point where its inedible. We called the store and the person by the drive thru said he used fresh tongs, fresh tongs will not help any if your putting already salted fries into the fryer and then serving them as a no salt to an individual who if they have any salt on thier food can go into an overdose since I take sodium pills already for my heart condition. It's one thing to have crappy food, its another thing to be out right rude to your customers when they come back with a problem.
So if you want a mcdonalds that is not going to treat thier customer like trash, and one that will actually fix a mistake when they make one its best to go somewhere else.
I just spent ten bucks on a meal, that even my cat (who literally eats everything) wouldnt even touch it with how old and stale everything is. I did get to eat half the McChicken but thats cause I don't mind my McChickens old, the only thing I cared about was that they didnt give me no salt fries.
Talk about...
