I absolutely loved the old school atmosphere here at Mike's Grill! I was in town for a concert and stopped in here for a drink or two or three, maybe even four. Read moreI grew up in Mike's. My father was a constant staple there until 2003. His name was Willard McCoy & he could always be found in a booth with his cigar & bud light. Johnny G owned it then, idk who owns it now but it should be a landmark in the short north. I have great memories of the bar & the people who also were regulars. My father would love to see it now. So if any of you old timers see this please know that lil Mendy K thinks of you all often & fondly. Joann Curry( phillips), Peggy, Jimbo, Bradshaw, Johnny G, Art Ghijakas, Paul, & anybody else i forgot. I miss the...

Being from Texas, I asked the likelihood of getting a bottle of the national beer of Texas, a Lone Star, and lo and behold it was presented to me. Had a great time meeting young and old alike. Look forward to...
