Karavan: Treasures From Turkey — Local services in Columbus

On two separate occasions the guy at the register tried to change the price of marked items. I came up with a $10 pillow cover and he tried to say they were actually $30. When I pointed out they both had $10 tags he back tracked and said someone else must've changed them behind his back and sized me up to see if he should try to get me to pay extra anyway. On the other occasion the guy told me he'd give me a deal for a coffee set at only $45. the set I was trying to buy was marked at $25 and when I pointed that out he said I was misreading it (I left without buying anything). On another occasion maybe four-ish years ago I took pictures of my friend while we were inside and when we went up to pay for some rings he tried to say $10 a picture and when I made it clear I wouldn't pay for any pictures and if he kept pushing it I wouldn't buy the rings either, he let it go. These interactions are each from a few years ago, but a friend recently went and also said she didn't buy anything because the clerk changed the prices multiple times while talking to her, so it reminded me. WOW! There's so many gorgeous, authentic treasures packed in here. We made at least 3 laps around the store and each time saw things we hadn't seen before. The owner was very personable and helpful. Honestly when we first walked by the store I was almost afraid to go in because from what we saw in the window I thought there was no way we'd be able to afford anything but decided to check out all of the colorful pretties anyway. I was pleasantly shocked to find a large range of different kinds of items with amazingly affordable prices. This is the second time I have stopped in Karavan while in Columbus. The store in itself is like a treasure chest of beautiful lighting, jewelry, gorgeous backgammon boards and chess sets and many other things to discover as you browse.
