McDonald's — Restaurant in Concord

Updated on 12/31/19 - unfortunately the service and quality have fallen way down again 😕. Out of 4 team members we had interaction with there was not one hello or thank you or sorry for the issues. Items that were out or not available included ice cream, ketchup, straws and honey mustard sauce. I ordered from the kiosk and it didn't have paper for a receipt. It took 10 minutes and 4 team members to figure out how to print one at the counter. Since I had already paid at the kiosk for the ice cream, they offered an apple pie. We accepted, only to find the pie was time stamped to 'enjoy' 2 hours before we arrived. The saving grace was the playground, my daughter had a good time but didn't finish her meal because it 'didn't taste good' (nuggets and fries).

It's unfortunate. They clearly poured alot of money into the upgrade. The quality of the staff and product don't match the quality of the new design. Most likely won't be back any time soon.

McDonald's is find for fast I don't know what people are expecting these people work very hard for very little money yes they may get short with you yes they may make your order wrong but most of the time it's okay and it's edible and it's expensive because it's the company it's a billion dollar company you're paying the billionaires the people that work at the windows people that work at the counter they're not millionaires they're just everyday people trying to make a living I hate people to trash people that work at fast food restaurants if they don't deserve it now there are some mean people everywhere I've even met them inexpensive restaurants so be careful when you knock people that just work for minimum wage because they are struggling just like all of us are in this economy and the rich are the ones that are never struggling have a kind word for someone that works hard met these people prosper in their everyday life and may they be able to feed their children and their families and still put a roof...

Aside from waiting 20 minutes for my food, in typical McDonald's fashion, they got my order wrong.

Update: They still keep getting my orders wrong. This is concerning because I'm one of thousands probably daily. How many more orders are they getting wrong?

Update: 10/2/2024: I found out why they have you move up from the window after getting your drinks, making you wait longer for your meal. They have sensors that calculate how long you sit at the windows. They use these numbers to compete with other stores and to secure bonuses, etc. The problem is that they get so many orders wrong, like 10 minutes later, that you now have to go inside to get it corrected, losing more time. But hey, they still get their bonuses.

This is a disgusting business practice, and they should be ashamed. But they don't care. They can't even apologize for wasting your time and giving you the wrong orders. I'm driving across the street to their competition, where they at least get the...
