Check my review history, I post more 5 stars than not. I try to be open minded when trying a new place. But a couple weird things happened.
I ordered take out from here. I got a gyro plate with the upgraded fries to Greek fries for an extra $1, a chicken pita, and a gyro kids meal, and paid $4 extra to get double gyro so the kids can split it.
Maybe I’m unlucky but more times than not, when I get takeout from somewhere I always get something wrong with my order, so I check it in the restaurant before I go home. I noticed they forgot my extra serving of gyro on the kids meal, so they happily gave me the extra side. Great, that’s fine. At least I didn’t drive home and then notice it. But there were about 5 guys back in the kitchen and all of them were STARING at me, like the whole time I was talking to the nice lady at the register, like a solid 30 seconds of these guys staring at me. It was so bizarre.
I get home and my wife points out they forgot the fries in her chicken Pita. Oh well, we just grabbed some from the kids and stuffed it in there. But there’s nothing worse than getting the order wrong in my book
Now the food, maybe I’m just spoiled by Troy in DT Martinez, but that gyro shouldn’t be called gyro. I felt like I was eating SPAM. Which hey I love me some SPAM, but not when I’m expecting Gyro. It says it’s a Lamb/Beef combo but I didn’t taste any lamb. My wife says missing fries aside, her Chicken Pita was good. I’ve come to find you can’t expect good fries when getting takeout because it’s soggy by the time you get home. Not their fault, but the Greek fries were pretty good with the added feta, chives and garlic.
All in all, it was “meh”. It’s ok food, overpriced as everything is nowadays, 4 stars, down to 3 because of the glaring workers and forgetting the fries...

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Nick The Greek and felt compelled to share my feedback. Unfortunately, the issues I encountered were numerous and significantly impacted my overall satisfaction with the dining experience.
Firstly, I attempted to contact the restaurant by phone on several occasions, and each time, my calls went unanswered. This lack of responsiveness left me frustrated and questioning the level of customer service provided by Nick The Greek. It is essential for a restaurant to be accessible, especially when customers have inquiries or need assistance.
Upon finally placing an order, I was disheartened to discover that the quality of the food did not meet my expectations. The chicken I received was notably old, dry, and lacked any discernible flavor. It was evident that the dish had not been prepared with the care and attention to detail that one would expect from a reputable establishment. The disappointment was further compounded by the fact that I paid extra for certain items, only to receive a subpar product that did not justify the additional cost.
This experience has left me questioning the overall value and integrity of Nick The Greek. Paying extra for items should result in an enhanced dining experience, not a letdown. I sincerely hope that [Restaurant Name] takes these concerns seriously and considers improvements in the areas of customer service, food quality, and overall value.
As a customer who has previously enjoyed your offerings, it is disheartening to see a decline in the standards I once associated with Nick The Greek. I hope that this feedback is taken constructively and used to make positive changes for the benefit of both the restaurant and...
Read moreIn 2022, I was introduced to Nick the Greek's restaurant (in The Veranda, Concord.) I was hooked immediately. The restaurant is always clean, and the customer service is great😁👍 (Giselle, Jada, & Ariana A) I am always greeted with a smile, by friendly and helpful people. The cooks are always surprisingly quick to prepare my orders. The food is very fresh. I order the beef and lamb Gyro Bowl . The portions are large and come in a biodegradable bowl. I like to have leftovers on a toasted flour tortilla, or a deep fried corn tortilla. The frozen yogurt is great. I like to eat it with graham crackers, as a healthier cheese cake alternative..I also like to throw granola with almonds or fresh fruit on it. It works great as a dessert or quick breakfast. There are many options to choose from. Just ask, and they will customize your food. The location is convenient. Close to shopping malls, (Willows, Sun Valley, and Park n Shop. It's located along Hwy 680 and just South of Hwy 4. Stop by and treat yourself, family, friends and co-workers. 😁👍 Thank you, Moosh🐭, for recommending Nick the...
