Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

This was by far the WORST chipotle I have ever experienced. My family LOVES CHIPOTLE and stopped here after coming to town for a Recreational All-Star football game at North Glynn. The cooks and food preparers were in arguments with the cashier. The cashier kept getting mad when she went to the drink station and the food preparer yelled CASH for her to come back to the register. The energy was INTENSE even for my little ones that asked several times "why is everyone mad at each other in here". My son spit his chicken out and we saw that several pieces were burnt! The oranges were frozen and rice was over cooked. The sitting area had napkins and straws all over the floor and the bathrooms were not clean. We knew that this was a newer location and looked forward to visiting it. I will NEVER visit this location again. We dined in from 7:30-8:15 pm. The entire staff from the girl with the reddish pink highlights, to the cashier to the food preparers EVERYONE was visibly ANGRY Or mad and needed to be sent home. I am so disappointed as we looked forward to coming all day. The food preparer didn't even ask if I wanted a bowl, or entree, protein veggies etc, he just looked down at the item and then looked up at me like "What do you want lady?". Sir give me the options! The veggies were not in there spot but instead on the counter behind the bar so I could NOT even see what was available. I asked for the grilled onions and peppers and the response was "We aint got non of them!" First the good: The chips were fresh, crispy and definitely made for maximum scoopage! The guacamole was semi chunky like I prefer with only a mild bite. It was green and not brown thankfully. They processed our order fairly quickly. The store was uncrowded. I always enjoy being able to customize my meal and it was a decent portion. Food was good overall, but definitely not noteworthy. Now the bad. The dining room was filthy. Trash on the floor and only one clean short table. Even the area around the service stand where napkins and plasticware was needed cleaning Employees were processed the orders fairly quickly, but were slow about the checkout. Also stood around talking when not active with orders instead of cleaning. I actually thought of taking photos of the disarray, but would hate to be the one to provide hard evidence that led to someone's termination. I was 30 minutes down the road when I realized they forgot half my order. I called to ask if they had it so I could come back but the automated system REFUSED to let me speak with anyone at the store! I finally got a “care team leader” who caught an attitude with me and then hung up on me!! When I got to the store one girl was nice and offered to remake everything. Another said no and went to the back. Then several members came out the back laughing!! I asked where the food could have gone and the girl laughing said “well if we don’t have a certain item you ordered we just don’t put it in there” I was dumb founded! This food was already paid for and if they didn’t have it oh well ….
