Angelo Crowell + Kalo Companies I encourage you to look into this location...it is LACKING & we don't want this for our community
I ordered from the JM app for dinner. My order was around closing & I asked for ASAP when asked the delivery option not noticing that ASAP was the next morning when they re-opened. I assumed I wouldn't be able to order if the store wasn't open (similar to door dash). That may have been a mis-site on my part.
Moving forward I receive the order the next morning around 10:45 a bit confused but figured we'd just have it for lunch. I opened my sandwich & found the bread to be crusty (almost old looking) & cold to the touch as if it had been refrigerated. I set it to the side & thought maybe the bread would soften by lunch time. Lunch time came (around noon) & my husband opened his sandwich & it was COMPLETLEY SOGGY on top & by this point my bread had actually hardened not softened. We wrapped the sandwiches up & he took them back to the store for replacements.
Mind you through out the process from the night before we had been trying to call the store & no one ever answers the phone. He gets to the store & the store manager Jamilia Williams was unnecessarily rude, unprofessional & unwilling to replace the sandwich. She opted to refund $20 (never mind I used $10 in JM points that weren't refunded) & continued to say she wasn't going to make the sandwiches & "take a loss". That made no sense to me considering the loss was the $20 she took from the register & all we'd have to do at that point was get back in line & re-order the sandwiches. He came home inconvenienced & still no lunch.
We later went back to the store together as I wanted to give the Manager an opportunity to make things right. Immediately upon meeting her & explaining things from our perspective she became defensive, rude & even patronizing. At one point I even re-explained how the sandwiches weren't edible & asked if she even attempted to look at our sandwiches when my husband was in the store to maybe see why we were not satisfied to which she shrugged her shoulders & said NO.
There is so much more I could say but the bottom line is we were very offended & asked for the store owners info. She would only provide me a name (Angelo Crowell) & said she didn't have his contact info which I find hard to believe.
We simply don't need this example for the youth that work under her management & the quality of food options in our community.
I truly hope that Kalo Companies or the powers to be care enough to look further into this.
As for me & my family we will go a town over to order the JM subs...
Read moreI came in the store and ordered a turkey sandwich with American cheese. First, the sandwich maker grabbed a piece of turkey that should have been discarded 5 uses ago, it was down to the knuckle on the slicer. I asked for a new turkey roll, for fresher meat. The sandwich maker looked at me and said well what do you want, ALL ATTITUDE!!
I just wanted the meat she would have used if she was making a sandwich for herself. She grabs the meat back off the bread and puts it back in the cooler, as if she was going to use it for the next turkey sandwich request. She grabs another piece of meat that should have been discarded after the last sandwich she made with it and proceeds. At this point, I am just ready to go. She then asks me, do you want it Mike's Way. I say, No, I would like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, and seasoning. Specifically saying no vinegar! I see her grab one bottle and shake, shake, shake on my sandwich. Then she grabs the next bottle and shakes, shakes, shakes. I say, did you put vinegar on the sandwich, she says yeah, that's Mike's Way. I say but I asked you not to put vinegar on it. She then proceeds with a SUPER ATTITUDE to remove the lettuce dripping with vinegar as if it didn't get on any other part of the sandwich. At this point, I said you know what, I don't want this sandwich and proceed to walk out past the Manager, who laughs at me as I walked out the door. I can understand the sub par experience from the sandwich maker, but the immaturity of the Manager, who should have tried to save and make this experience better (witnessing the whole ordeal) acted like a kid and not a leader, condoning her employees behavior and adding poor leadership to the experience as well. I will never visit this location again, until it's under...

I discovered it wasn’t no onions peppers mushroom or jalapeño on mine so I knew it wasn’t right I had to come back in didn’t even have my purse thinking they will fix the sandwich.
