McDonald's — Restaurant in Coos Bay

Lady at the first drive thru window just rudely waved us by. The lady at the second drive thru window was very much an instigator and clearly felt the customers were there primarily for her benefit.

Food was served luke warm at best and had eggshells or something quite crunchy in the eggs on all of the bacon egg and cheese biscuits (4 total and all had this crunchy egg thing going on)

When I went into the lobby to let them know this was not cool, things got worse almost immediately. (I've worked in the service industry and I am actually quite nice about complaints in restaurants. I look at it more as a way to just let them know and to help the next guy to come along after me to not have the same problem I experienced.

When a "manager" finally came up to the counter with an audible sigh I was thinking i knew what to expect next....she was a young lady with a short haircut and an attitude to match her second drive thru window employee. She surprised me with the way she handled my complaint, still delivered to her in a friendly, professional and constructive manner.

She was not interested in what I had to say; before i even said one word, that was apparent. We were told, "Yeah, that'll happen with eggs," and she turned and walked away in what I can only think she thought was an authoritative manner. What it was, however, was a show for the audience of her employees watching the interaction we just had. That was more than confirmed by her snicker and was unacceptable. She enjoyed the high fives she got from 2 other workers who thought she was hilarious for the way she "dawged that dude about the eggs".

This is one of the worst locations I've been to in quite some time. Mainly for their blatant disregard of the value of a customer and the tone set by the "manager" who clearly did not have any business in that role.

The store was only partially cleaned in the lobby and for the number of employees standing around talking and doing nothing resembling work that was surprising to see. I will not be returning to this McDonald's location... not even to use their restroom... they are really so incredibly rude...

Nice, friendly drive through person. The service is fast and accurate. I really appreciate how they offer quite a few alternatives to fried hamburgers. Because, lets face it folks, Mickey D's burgers are pulling in around first place for the ugliest and most tasteless cardboard hamburger patty. Now, there is the sirloin burger which is really just hamburger mashed together with some big pieces of lard and maybe some spices..i doubt it on the spices though. Most people (like me) are going there for the kids meal and toys ect. Which, actually makes the gross factor tolerable to me....sometimes i wonder myself if im the only adult left who actually does eat McDonalds food lol...all in all, a 4/5 not a five because the quality of the actual product isnt as good as it can get.

I wanted to put in an update for you guys. This Mcdonalds in Sutherlin Oregon is pretty sweet, they are always friendly, and the reason for the update is the other day I was in line, they were super busy, and I was waiting to get my food. When I went to get my debit card it was gone. So, I told the girl who was the drive through cashier , and she snagged the manager and told him I didnt have $ for my food, which, I found odd untill he said he would buy it for us!!! I really felt that was above and beyond what is usually done in this case. Not open as hours posted. Showed up at 11pm says open till 12 but they are closed in person. I called the phone number and they answered the gentleman was actually extremely sweet and apologetic. He was so nice about the misplaced hours I got off the phone feeling they truly care about their customers. It was the 2nd place I visited tonight with incorrect hours posted but because of his professionalism and the way he handled their customers with a nice tone regarding the incorrectly posted hours I gave it 3 stars instead of 1 because of being impressed by their courteousness. However I was still inconvenienced by McDonald's not its employees though because i drove there for dinner for my family of 7 after checking online hours. So I...
