Beware of the thieves working at the register. They will take your order and if it's small and a common order they know the total without keying anything into the register (especially the $4 for $4 meals). Then proceed to pocket the money, give you the correct change but they will ignore the fact that there was no receipt given. This female cashier that took my order gave me correct change and also the cup for my soda. And then proceeded to leave. I went and got my soda and waited twenty minutes for my order before I asked where my food was. I was told by the male cashier working at this time that I never placed an order. And refused to give me my food. I asked how I got the correct change in my pocket for paying with a five dollar bill, and also have my soda. I said I was sorry that I didn't get any receipt but the people that were in front of me and also the people behind me said I was telling the truth and did in fact order what I said I did. He ignored everything that was said. I asked another worker to speak to the manager on duty. The manager checked the register for the receipt which wasn't there. Said that I never ordered anything, also told me that the male cashier never took my order. She refused to listen to anything other customers seen (me ordering, and a female cashier taking my order). I asked for her name, her bosses name, and and the phone number. She then went in the back wrote her bosses name the number but refused to give me her name. I asked why they couldn't roll back the video and see what really happened. And was ignored. That is when I said I was going to call the corporate office and file a complaint. That is when she called the police. The police came took both sides of the story, and they even asked why she didn't look at the video feed and ask the customers that witnessed it what happened. Her response was that she didn't have any access to the feed and she couldn't be certain that they really seen what happened. The officers were completely dumbfounded by the way she handled it, apologized to me for the inconvenience and took me over and bought me steak and shake. She had the nerve to try and tell them I did the same thing the previous night. Inevitably I paid a little over $4 for a medium soda. I strongly urge people not to take their business there it's an extremely poorly run...
Read moreHorrible experience today. Most of the people I encountered were rude/short. Order screen did not work, price was more than expected and was refused a receipt after asking multiple times. The worker who took my payment said I would get a receipt with the order which didn't make any sense to me. Then person who gave me the food and drinks tried to rush me away by trying to hand me multiple bags of food and drinks at once and kept saying have a nice day. Started to drive off but instead decided to pull into lot and check order. Almost everything was to order but then noticed the huge cups my drinks were in. I called to speak to a manger and was told that they have to upsale to large(r) combo size if it was not communicated. First all, this has never happened at any other fast food restaurant or Wendy's, including this one, ans secondly, if this is a thing it is fairly new and is not stated anywhere and is unfair to the consumer, especially when only the prices to your smallest combo are displayed on menus. I was first told that nothing would be done about the deceit. But after I asked to have contact information to a corporate office or GM, which I was also initially refused, they came up with the idea of a partial refund or free meal. I agreed but was still refused the contact information I had requested. I had to go back into the store, demand a receipt of some fashion and continue to ask about how to contact corporate/GM. I kept getting the runaround about how I could not have their personal contact info (which I never asked for, I requested professional work related contact info) and then tried to tell me certain times that I could or could not call (weirdly specific times, not jusy typical shift times). The "manager" on duty claims to have been speaking to the GM on the phone but who knows who was really on the phone. I would have been fine with an apology, explanation, and refund but all of the going back and forth caused me to really put a microscope on the service that I received. I still intend to contact the GM and file complaints with her and any other necessary...
Read moreCashier flat lied to me about the sweet tea being made on site. She could have been honest and say, we have only fountain ice tea. I requested a refund, for the third time. Each time I go there. My food is cold, sloppy and wrong. The manager always tries to correct the problem. I do appreciate that. But the employees are generally rude, without concern for customers, and seem o be bothered by the customers. I forgot that it was Sunday. I originally wanted Chic Fila a. Of course they are closed on Sundays. Wendy's is right beside them. I thought I'd give Wendy's another chance, as they were my second choice for a reason. And I wished I had not. As I am constantly disappointed with the food. I have spent anywhere from $13.00 to $25.00. it's just not worth going to the drive thru, and getting all the way home to find that the French fries are old and cold. Your nuggets seem to be made of rubber, your sandwich is..well, I just don't have the words for it. I am more upset about being lied to. I specifically asked several times if the tea was made on site. The cashier said yes. She also said they have fountain tea. I said that I did not want fountain tea. I ended up with fountain tea. The manager told me they do not make tea on site, when I called. I was slightly Disturbed by how meaningless the lie, and how easy it was for the cashier to lie. It made no sense. And no matter how you slice it, a lie is a lie. And it's wrong. I think I will stick with Chic Fil a from now on. I love the Christian values. The customer service is impeccable. Order is always right, fresh and hot. The employees are always so happy to serve the customers. It's absolutely unbelievable. Wendy's could learn a...
