La Fontana Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Coral Springs

WOW!!! Had the most amazing experience here with my boyfriend. First time here, was apprehensive because of some of the negative reviews but I’m so happy I ignored. Not everybody can be pleased and not everyone is a good customer lol so anyway from beginning to end, my time here was nothing short of magical. First of all sat outside just under the building facing the fountain by a beautiful tree. The weather was perfect, the music was incredible and at the perfect volume. We had Sofia which was the sweetest server. Had a small pizza as an appetizer and two pasta dishes and some dessert. Food was incredible!!!! The pizza was so good, the dough flavorful and perfectly cooked and my parpadelle a la bolognese was delicious, had an almond mousse for dessert. I don’t drink so no wine but the selections were excellent. Everything was fresh!! Honestly I didn’t want to leave. My experience was so perfect that as we were pulling out of our spot I asked my boyfriend to stop the car and I ran inside and got a $100 GC for my parents so they could try this place too!! I can’t believe this gem has been next to me for over 15 years!!! When I went inside they were all speaking to each other in Italian! Working together as family! Whether or not they’re blood. They were operating as family!! The gentleman cooking said hello and I saw him throwing down on some pizza making in their beautiful brick oven!! I will definitely be returning. Be patient here, they’re not a huge operation and everything is made to order, it’s not McDonalds. So get some wine, some apps and enjoy the music and flavors of La Fontana. You won’t regret it. Ps my bfs whole Bill for a full three course experience for two was only $75 and we tipped Sofia $20. Under a 100 for a couple at The Walk!!! In a nice establishment. That is very on par and reasonable for this area. Completely worth it. Enjoy!! And TREAT YO’SELF...

Hello, Although your food is delicious and the ambiance was great – there were a few things that need improvement. This is just constructive criticism and not to get anybody in trouble. But recently a group of friends and myself went there. It was my first time there. And:

1. My friend’s fish was undercooked a little
2. That same friend ordered octopus but instead cod was put in its place – without even informing him and WITHOUT reducing the price.
3. Our waiter rolled their eyes when we asked if we can have the bills divided. Perhaps waiters should be taught - when taking an order - especially if it is NOT a family - to ask, "will this be together or separate checks?"
4. I tried to treat several other friends I ran into that were inside the restaurant as a surprise and as a nice gesture but he also said he was unable to do that cause they had a different waiter. i thought they were going to ask the other waiter but I guess they forgot.
5. The pictures of the desert was different from the desert we actually got. One desert (in real life) had only one scoop of ice cream when it clearly showed 3 scoops in the picture Our waiter apologized as we were about to leave and we forgive him. That's why I give it three stars because maybe they realized they could have been better. . Like I said, just some constructive advice. I don't want to get anyone in trouble. I went to this place for the 4th time today because I enjoy the location and I’ve always had a great gastronomic experience. For some reason this time since the beginning of my journey I felt uncomfortable because an associate or waitress of the location ask us to stand up of a table with 4 chairs (we were 5) because she wanted to sit someone else there (with the restaurant empty) we obviously (my family and my baby) said in a very polite way that we certainly prefer the place we’ve chosen. When the time of order came I asked for a risotto and in a very derogatory way the server said: “this is an Italian restaurant we don’t have rice here, this is fully Italian and the owners also, Italians do not have this plate”. I had no reaction and I just order a soup instead of that plate in conjunction with my order ( 2 pizzas a salad, water, and an Italian beer) when my order arrives the bread and pizza was unsupportable salty none could eat the bread of this Italian place. The soup never arrived because the server never put the order for my moms soup ( my mom have brackets she was hungry and couldn’t eat anything else) we gave our feedback to the personal of the restaurant and what we received as an answer was: DONT PAY NOTHING YOU ARE NOT WELCOME...
